Health is a learning process and a continuous journey that's why it was so important to have a second with a doctor. More specifically, Dr. Maisha Pesante, M.D., referred to as Dr. Maisha, a board-certified physician, spiritual leader, poet, public, speaker, wife, and mother. A major part of her mission is to transform unsound narratives and shed light on historical truths concerning Muslims, Black people of the Diaspora, and Latinos.
