Kate dives into part two of the Boston Marathon Bombings. After three young men in Waltham, Massachusetts were murdered in 2011, the case quickly went cold. However, their killers were much closer to home than police led on, and it would take the biggest terrorist attack in the United States since 9/11 to reveal it all.

On May 18th, 2020, a video was posted to YouTube of Connecticut State Trooper Matthew Spina getting into an expletive-laced argument with a driver on I-95 in New Haven, Connecticut. Kate breaks down the incident and gives her perspective on why it is important for police officers to have someone or somewhere to turn to when their mental health deteriorates, and why in some cases, it’s better to just keep driving.
In this episode, we discuss the first case in Connecticut to ever be tried based on circumstantial evidence. The murder of Helle Crafts, known as The Wood Chipper Murder, debunked the outdated “no body, no crime” theory.
