If there were one place in the United States that one could almost guarantee any would-be ghost hunter to come across activity, it would be the battlefields of Gettysburg.  With literally tens of thousands of souls lost in a period of just a few days, the ripple effects of the lives lost would forever change the lives of millions of individual family members of these soldiers across the nation.  Leaving a lasting scar or imprint on the land where these horrific battles took place.  When exploring this area, Dale Kaczmarek has captured utterly unique and, at times, shocking one on one communication with what could be the souls of those who lost their lives on this hallowed ground. PART 2 - AVAILABLE TO GRAVE KEEPERS ONLY - LISTEN HERE (http://www.patreon.com/thegravetalks) In part two of our interview, available only to Grave Keepers (http://www.patreon.com/thegravetalks) , we discuss: There are many “apps” now for ghost hunting.  What does Dale think of these apps’ vs. standalone physical equipment? Do areas that saw more violence produce more evidence in Gettysburg? Do you think spirits can choose to show themselves to us, or do we happen to catch small glimpses of them beyond their control? When you hear the gunshots going off in Gettysburg, are we hearing residual sounds, or is there an alternate world where the battle is still going on? Does residual energy ever die off? A traveling salesman left for dead. Just how did Travis Alexander's life come to a tragic end? Who was the killer and was it murder in cold blood, or was it in self-defense? It’s a case that captured the minds of millions, and to this day still divides many on what they believe really happened. The Jodi Arias Story, today on The Dark Side of Wikipedia.
Her name is synonymous with murder. Not just any murder tough, a vicious disturbing attack welding an axe to her family and forever placing a dark veil on the building where the attack took place. But did she actually commit the murders? Or is this a case of history not being actually portrayed? Today the true story of Lizzie Borden, on the Dark Side of Wikipedia.
The Walter E. Fernald Developmental Center has a very dark past.  A past shaded with sinister and unethical experimentation on developmentally disabled children.  From eugenics to feeding children cereals laced with radioactive isotopes. Life inside the Fernald was not one of rehabilitation or care that it should have been.  Today, the campus sits abandoned, a quiet and lonely reminder of a time that many would rather forget.  But do the dark shadows of the past still linger in the halls of countless buildings that slowly rot away on this seemingly cursed plot of land?  Today we learn about Fernald's Spirits as we talk with paranormal investigator Nick Graves. PART 2 - AVAILABLE TO GRAVE KEEPERS ONLY - LISTEN HERE (http://www.patreon.com/thegravetalks) In part two of our interview, available only to Grave Keepers (http://www.patreon.com/thegravetalks) , we discuss: What is Nick found in the church on the Fernald property that seems to have evil intent? Are there negative entities that reside on the campus of this facility? Is it possible to confuse a negative entity for a confused entity that still suffers from their disabilities even in the afterlife? Do the former residents haunt this facility or the spirts who linger "things" that feed off former residents' pain and anguish? Why would conscious spirits choose to reside there still for a location with such dark history?  Or do they have a choice? What are the campus's status and its buildings today, and what does the future hold for it? I was a senior in high school at the time and traveling with my Dad for business. Had I not been a pain in the ass angst ridden teen, my father and I would have made our flight, Pan Am 103. Because we were arguing we missed our flight

Love hearing about local disasters. Not sure if you two read the comments on Castbox, but it's definitely worth checking out some of the sites down here if you return at some point. I live on the west side of Galveston bay, and within minutes from my home is Andrea Yates' house, the Texas Killing Fields, and the Brio toxic waste dump. And for reference, yes the Texas City disaster is taught here, at least in Houston, though I can't speak for the rest of the state since it's so large. Typically schools cover older Texas history, such as founding, settlement, and the war for independence, but if the curriculum can progress far enough in school, or you're taking more specialized college courses, it is at the very least brought up.

Bath houses were originally a place where men could go bathe and swim. it wasn't until later on where it became known as a place for gay men to hook up.
