The call to welcome a new season felt like divine timing as a birth my second child, the lessons and potent reminders of my voice sparked me to share my story here with you.In this episode I lean into my threads of safety in my body and life, of trusting love within myself and for others to love me. I speak into my fears around loss and the ways in which I have been asked to let go. To birth in full feminine form, fully held and surrendered.I speak of my miscarriage, my home birth and the layers in-between as I navigated this powerful rite of passage. The invite is here to lean into what is on your heart, to bring those stories forth into the physical. As we share we heal ourselves and others. Lean in.Clare xoMusic: 'Eyes of Wonder' Caleb Etheridge
Today we are speaking with Kemi Nekvapil, a powerful woman, author, coach and mother. This connection was divinely aligned as Kemi was an inspiration for my own voice and taking actions on my dreams. Our time together in a coaching container inspired me to speak with her about her story and the threads of her life.We speak of her journey through her five foster families from age two and the threads of  worthiness, belonging and owning her story of being a woman of colour.Kemi shares the moments of her voice not being heard and where she stood in her power along the way. Now as an accredited Coach and space holder for women to own their power, she shares her defining  moments that changed the course of her life, and how this has shown up in her work today. She's worked harder than most, humble, grounded and an inspiring woman of strength and grace. This is her story. As we dive into Kemi’s story and share each of our perspectives and experiences we invite you to lean into your own story.    Have you felt similar? Do you resonate? and if so how? As we share our stories we give permission for ourselves to rise above the narratives and honour our unique journeys. Plus we give permission for others to deepen too, we can raise the frequencies of each other by storytelling, sharing and connecting. If you've resonated with this episode or any of Season 1 we would love to hear from you by leaving a comment, subscribing or sharing with another woman who may need to hear these stories.  Music: 'Eyes of Wonder' by Caleb Etheridge Production: The Storyteller Co.  Guest Speaker: Kemi Nekvapil   Let's Rise x

She was shocked to find that women were without basic needs and using socks and newspapers during their menstrual cycles. She began her quest for giving the dignity back to women as a Personal Trainer, asking her clients to bring pads and tampons for every wine they drank that month, giving those items to local shelters which then lead to her founding 'Share the Dignity'.Rochelle’s passion oozes through the stories we discuss, the triumphs and tribulations she has witnessed of other women, youth and families.'The need is so great' she says, and we are the solution. As we dive into Rochelle’s story and share each of our perspectives and experiences we invite you to lean into your own story.   Have you felt similar?  Do you resonate? and if so how? As we share our stories we give permission for ourselves to rise above the narratives and honour our unique journeys. Isn’t it interesting that just when we think we have worked through ‘that thing’ it comes in again swinging. If it said anything it would say “Are you sure you’ve rid of me”?Think again.I’m ok with the shadows, I do see how profound they make life. We wouldn’t feel light, love and joy if we didn’t feel darkness and sit with the darkest parts of ourselves. Every step into the light we choose to take, the dark will show up too. It will create some greys and it will break open our colourful chest of crayons, test those heart strings and bend our minds. When calling in another mentor/coach  who could push me to the edge, rattle my cage, hear the things I wasn’t saying and hand back the power to me to change, I was sure no one could handle me. ‘I’m too much’ says old me. Today my mind and heart have been broken open and light is cracking through. With hope and vision, with nervousness and excitement, with fears pooling into my eyes. She asks ‘are you worried that no one will show up for who you are’ A hard YES hit me like a tonne of bricks. In business, love, friendships, in every way there was still a belief that I wasn’t FULLY worthy of being ‘stood’ with. Woah. My heart hurt, blood racing & a massive realisation that this worthiness is a lifetimes work. One step at a time. "I would like to pay my respects to the traditional owners of the land in which we work on and with, the land of the Wadawurrang people.
