Hands-up who loves a comedy podcast...all of you? We'll you're in the right place and in for a treat, as two of the UK's funniest shows collide to talk about some amazing comedy offerings available on Audible. The teams behind The Guilty Feminist and Drunk Women Solving Crime, present 'Guilty Feminists Solving Podcasts'.Deborah Frances-White joins Hannah George, Catie Wilkins, and Taylor Glenn to swap some of the fantastic original podcasts they've been listening to on Audible, which includes new shows like Lolly Adefope's 'Fanmail', a hilarious take on fame and being famous, plus some of the more established series such as the riotous 'Kurupt FM' and brilliant audio adaption of Alan Davis' TV show 'As Yet Untitled'.The gang also discusses the last time they 'mashed-up' at the London Podcast Festival, all the way back in 2019... a night none of them can remember, mainly due to the on-stage drinks trolley. Thanks so much to Audible for allowing these titans of the podcast world to get together again, and for the huge library of comedy shows to listen to! Media Storm will be LIVE at London Podcast Festival, Saturday 16th September at 7pm. BOOK your tickets now: https://www.kingsplace.co.uk/whats-on/words/media-storm-2/ If you're a Lord of the Rings fan, you may know Nazanin Boniadi from her portrayal of Bronwyn in the Rings of Power. If you follow her online, you may be aware of her determined activism. Since 2008, Nazanin has represented Amnesty International’s campaigns for the restoration of stolen human rights. In the aftermath of the 1979 Iranian Revolution, Nazanin's parents fled Iran for safety in London. Her fight may have started in her mother's womb, but it certainly didn't end there. Since September 2022, a new revolution has been ongoing in Iran after Mahsa Amini, a 22 year-old woman, died in police custody. Her crime? Allegedly violating Iran’s strict rules requiring women to cover their hair with a hijab. Nazanin has been fighting for the voices of Iranian women & girls to be heard worldwide. In this special episode, Media Storm hosts Helena Wadia and Mathilda Mallinson speak to Nazanin about her story, and how to report on Iran - and crises around the world - without demonising foreign cultures. Warning: strong language and mention of rape Are trans rights a threat to women? Or is that narrative itself the real threat?Actor, author and activist Charlie Craggs joins journalists Helena Wadia and Mathilda Mallinson in the studio this week, to pick apart mainstream media efforts to pitch cis women against their trans counterparts: where has it come from, who is it serving, and how is it being weaponised against women themselves? The hosts also spill the beans from their trip to Parliament, which took an unexpected turn for the transphobic.LIVE SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT: Media Storm, from the house of The Guilty Feminist, will be LIVE at the London Podcast Festival this September, on Saturday 16th at 7pm! bullshit feminism
nice baby
i love you baby...
Great as always 😀👍
Every time they say ''I am a femminist,'' the next word is ''but.'' So that's weird.
Really inspiring episode.
this episode was liiiiiiit. loved it
"go fart in the corner" hahaha
when is Grace releasing Storm to Weather - I've been hanging out to buy it since I heard it last year 💕
I absolutely love Rachel Bloom!! Thank you!!
this is a brilliant episode
Loving Grace's song!
The story behind Bridgerton was written by a woman, not a man. Julia Quinn, aka Julie Pottinger.
oke
When are we going to be able to buy this fabulous song Grace? #gracepetrie
Absolutely bloody hilarious! Kudos for not breaking into fits of girly, brainless giggles! Made my day.
I love this podcast, it’s funny, sad, humbling and eye opening. I’m a man and it can be uncomfortable to listen to at times, but that’s ok the world needs to change significantly for the better of the human race. I give it 5 stars out of 5!!
My favourite podcast yet! Absolutely loved it!
This is a DISGUSTING and sexist podcast. imagine a man making a podcast like this and dividing people by gender
