We often feel the need to know everything. We want to know what’s next, and that need for control can lead to a lot of anxiety. Because the truth is, you don’t have to know it all.
We only have so much energy in our lives. If we channel it into the wrong things, including multi-tasking, we find that we may not be present for some pretty important stuff. What if instead, you gave something your entire focus? Try it today and see how you feel.
Today Andy talks about how to get your friends and family interested in meditation. His suggestion? Tell them they just have to try it.
Especially with young children, we can place pretty big expectations on who or what they’re going to be. But in doing that, we don’t allow people to be who they actually are. Today, instead of trying to anticipate, try experiencing someone as they are in that moment.
We hear from a lot of people looking for “happiness” or “enlightenment” like it’s a status or level to achieve in our lives. But really, it’s a state of being. And whenever we are present in the moments of our life, that is enlightenment. Happiness isn’t waiting for you somewhere in the future - it’s here, right now.

Sam thank you this brought me to some tears this morning.
I had the same problem with noise when recording my online videos. Then I found Krisp. I should've invested less in microphones hehe.
Loved it.
Love this
I feel relax and ambitious when listening to the heqdspace radio episodes, well done :)
Andy please make episodes for loneliness
Okay, but like, if we defunded the police or military taxes could go towards things like utilities, municipal cell and internet, so that having running water or a working phone is no longer an issue of class. This episode felt icky to me. Like, here's someone in a position of privilege telling me to be grateful when I have the money to pay a company that exploits it's workers so they can make millions in profits. Not to mention basically a few cell companies hold the majority of towers and even the non-big names have to use their towers. It's all fucked, guys. This episode was not relaxing.
hi andy please record several episodes about loneliness
I felt seen as I listened to this episode. Thank you!
