Brian is a self-taught video game developer for the last 4-5 years. He does contract work for various different companies in the Unreal Engine and works on a variety of different types of projects within the software. He's developed his own game available on Steam called Heroes of Eldemoor. Brian has aspirations of building his own games, but really his focus is having fun and working on creative projects. Today we have a special episode about how to keep a motivated mindset. Our guest cancelled this week, and I have wanted to do something like this for a while. These are some tips I have picked up over the last year or so. I write down these quotes to keep them present in my mind and keep myself motivated on the end goal. It can be really hard to keep your mind from betraying you, and I suffer from this quite a bit. I wanted to give everyone an idea of what I do to keep myself moving forward. Josh is the Master Blacksmith and owner of the Bavarian Blacksmith Experience in Frankenmuth, MI. He has made appearances on the History channel on reality shows like Forged in Fire and Knife or Death. Even winning himself a championship title. Josh is a very genuine guy and has spent a decent portion of his life teaching his craft to others. This is what inspired him to open his shop in Frankenmuth. Larry Allswede is the owner and founder of Security Auto Glass, which started as a glass repair company. It's now a multi-million dollar business that incorporates glass repairs, replacements, and specialized glass treatments. Larry is an amazing person all around, a great conversationalist, and an excellent motivator. Just talking to him has me ready to take on the world.
