Xad and I touch on some of the things I have been planning. Cameron Hawkins is a 28-year-old heavy equipment technician by trade. He runs his own mobile business in Michigan and went to High School with our hosts. Cam was a fantastic guest and you can feel how hard this guy works when you talk to him. Xad and I both felt super motivated after this conversation. We talk about being a mechanic and the tough lifestyle Cameron leads, but he wouldn't change it for anything. He really loves wrenching so much, he does it after working an 80-hour workweek as a hobby. We touch on Cam's love of mud racing a lot, how happy he is to be in business for himself, and a pretty wicked Disneyland story. We flipped the script today. Xad took the driver's seat and interviewed me, Mike Proctor, the creator and Host of Not Really That Famous. It felt so weird to be the interviewee and not the interviewer. I am always down to talk my butt off though and we hit on the podcast beginnings a lot in this one. I talk about why I really wanted to do the podcast and how it became what it is today. This one is a deep dive though, much more in-depth than we've ever gone before. I try to inspire people to do things every day and I'm willing to help and learn from anyone, and my friends had a huge impact on this project.Hit Subscribe if you like the show.YouTube FeedVisit the website: notreallythatfamous.comCheck out the merch shop!Facebook/Instagram @notreallythatfamousThis is a link to the book I constantly refer to:The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ Demarco
We are back! Xad is finally out of quarantine and recovered safely from the dreaded Rona. He tells some funny stories from his time laying low. Covid is the main topic from this episode, I also talk about a new podcast I have been listening to called "My First Million." It's like an idea think tank, two entrepreneurs going nuts with ideas off the top. We talk about some of the coolest ones I've heard so far. We also hit on my latest project, Binge Lords. It was nice to get back in the studio and laugh. Amazing guests are coming in the future!Hit Subscribe if you like the show.YouTube FeedVisit the website: notreallythatfamous.comCheck out the merch shop!Facebook/Instagram @notreallythatfamous
Zakk is a returning guest and a great conversationalist. Xad and I wanted to do a show about what is on most of our minds, Politics. We are never the type to throw our views out into the world and shun anyone who disagrees, so we took it the NRTF way. We talk about some crazy presidential candidates, watch some hilarious videos about politicians, and look up some ridiculous laws that still exist today. If you haven't heard of Vermin Supreme, you gotta listen to this one. This isn't a place you're going to find a right and left-wing guest going at it over healthcare. We keep it fun and entertaining. This is the place we imagined. The Studio 2.0 is in full effect and we had our first guest Dalton Cremer. Dalton is a Byron, MI native, and good friend of Luq who made a special appearance today as well. We talk about our generation's thoughts on learning a trade when we were younger,  Dalton and Luq's current job as custodians for a school, and Tim Hortons restaurant. FYI Tim Horton had an Iron-like jaw. Having so many people in the studio can be troublesome, as we were fighting to talk over one another lol. I recommend checking out the Youtube Feed for the full effect. Today's episode is our first adventure into the land of Youtube. We included a video feed straight from the studio. Xad and I talk about "The Social Dilemma" and "The Great Hack" , two very cool documentaries currently on Netflix. I suspect a troll on my Social Media profile and dive into this pretty hilarious story. Data is something that we want to bring back into the show more prominently and plan to do so in the future. Xad and I were stoked to be able to show everyone the studio. Several of those make appearances throughout the show. Xad and I had a great time meeting John and a huge thanks to him for coming on.
