Dr Odell Glenn Jr. holds a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from The State University of New York at Stony Brook, two master of science degrees from New Jersey Institute of Technology (electrical and manufacturing systems engineering) and a doctoral degree from The University of South Carolina in chemical engineering. He is a full-time instructor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and has taught part-time in the science department at the historically black university “ALLEN UNIVERSITY” in Columbia, SC. Dr Glenn is also a full-time caregiver and has been for over 13 years. He has written a book, entitled “CAREGIVING: THE INSPIRATIONAL MANUAL”, to and for caregivers. The wisdom and experience that he has gained are intended to be shared to help, shape, inform or guide someone else along life’s tedious journey. His overall mission in life is to minister to the intellectual, social and spiritual needs of all people. He lives in Arlington, Virginia, USA. He was a former Green Beret SCUBA medic with the U.S. Army’s 7th Special Forces Group, he is an avid SCUBA diver, motorcyclist, and amateur herpetologist.  From 2006-2009 Storm was a Distinguished Visiting Professor at Seneca College in Toronto. From 1996 to 2002, he was Director, Strategic Initiatives at the Construction Specifications Institute, a 60+-year-old association of 14,000 architects, engineers, contractors, and manufacturers. In this episode, we met with Jameela Nawaz, from the United Kingdom, who is a Degree Apprentice studying Civil Engineering. She recently passed her EngTech with the ICE and is working through her degree and IEng attributes to reach her endpoint assessment to pass and become an Incorporated Engineer. She started Civil Engineering in 2015, and has worked on various projects in the UK, mainly Highways Transportation. Currently, she is helping using Computer-Aided Design producing drawing packages working towards learning more about making and applying design decisions and having greater involvement in design work. After graduating from University, she will finish off hitting her attributes and apply for her IEng through the endpoint assessment.
