In today's world, having an entrepreneurial mindset is becoming more and more important. Being an entrepreneur means constantly improving, learning, and adapting to new situations. It's about having a growth mindset and persevering through adversity. However, for many people, having this mindset doesn't come naturally. One of the biggest challenges in developing an entrepreneurial mindset is overcoming a need for perfection. This can lead to analysis paralysis, fear of failure, and ultimately, no progress. The key is to practice and embrace imperfection. Entrepreneurial success often comes from taking imperfect action and learning along the way.   Personal development is another important aspect of developing an entrepreneurial mindset. Surrounding oneself with positive influences, reading books, and learning from business coaches can help shape one's beliefs and habits. Making the journey towards an entrepreneurial mindset easy and taking the easy choices is often the hardest part, but with perseverance and patience, it is possible. By embracing imperfection, continually practicing, and investing in personal development, anyone can develop an entrepreneurial mindset and achieve success in their personal and professional lives.    For more resources visit https://christinemeansbusiness.com
Today I want to talk about investing. I'm very much aware that this is a topic that has been talked about a lot, especially when you are in the online world. It's all about reading sales pages and investing six to seven figures in order to be successful. But, there are a lot of things here that just don't sit well with me. Let's look at investing in a way that maybe refers to how you feel when you do it, and what it can release in you when you cherish what your money is getting you. I didn't think that I was smart for the longest time. The reason for that is high school.  In our society, it's very traditional that science and math = smart and linguistic, creativity and arts = cute... and that's just not true. No, it's a mindset thing!   When I work with clients, I go into business and immediately see what’s worth spending your time on, what things can wait, and what things you should cut out completely because they simply don’t work for you.  I do not discriminate in terms of “you need to have a certain academic degree” but I thrive on working with business owners who get me and who get how I work.  Don’t be afraid to articulate that - who do you want to work with?    Listen to this new episode and find out more about why when I talk about smart, I do absolutely not refer to academics.    For more resources visit https://christinemeansbusiness.com
Marketing is all about helping people make the right choice, which essentially means buying the product or service that you sell. But what if I told you there is another way to attract the right clients for your business?! A way that is not based on selling the solution for someone’s worst fear or selling an idea of a perfect future to someone... but finding your client where they are at!  It's not an easy shift, but one that is well worth it! There was a time when I accepted clients who ticked all the boxes in terms of being a perfect client but were they all good for my business? Would that lead my business to success? Recently, I decided to reduce the number of people that I work with drastically, simply because it was getting really stressful for me and my business wasn't going towards the direction I envisioned. If you feel the same, then I got some good news for you and that is that as an entrepreneur you can choose who you want to work with. You do that by being very clear in your messaging about what you want, and who you want to attract, but more importantly by being clear about who you don't want to work with. You can choose the client you want to work with and find out what type of business models support that. For more resources visit https://christinemeansbusiness.com
How to avoid entrepreneurial burnout: Knowing what to outsource and when to let go is the biggest gift you can give yourself as an entrepreneur.    In the beginning, you obviously, do everything on your own because you don't have the resources and you don't know where to look. But once your business grows and you get your name out there, you should start building a team and outsource tasks, otherwise, burnout is waiting for you around the corner.   In today's podcast, we will have a look at  Why We Love Entrepreneurship How to Avoid a Burnout, and  How you can do it all   Join me for this new and last episode of 2022! Hiring a business consultant is not just for big businesses!   A business consultant for a small business can be very beneficial and today I want to explain to you why. The word ‘consultant’ was always so intimidating to me. Once I learned what a consultant is I only thought of the big 5 international cooperations and I connected it with white dudes in a suit. Even though I am a consultant today and hence a little bit more ridged than a coach would be, I’m still an entrepreneur with creativity and creative solutions.   What is really important to understand is that you don't have to be a huge business in order to hire a consultant. I actually think that small businesses that want to stay lean but efficient should absolutely hire a consultant. I work with many small businesses that are one-person shops who are very successful in what they do but weren’t considering hiring a consultant because they thought it is a corporate thing. Let me remind you you are the CEO of your company and having a consultant who helps you with strategy and creative solutions is exactly what your business needs.  Don't miss this episode!  For more resources visit https://christinemeansbusiness.com
There are different points to a high-ticket in business. Today I want to share my personal opinion with you on what I've observed over the last few years when it comes to high-tickets in the business world.  In business, it's always about time and money. It doesn't matter what industry it is.  Unfortunately, there's no accountability in the coaching industry and people promise things, but nothing happens. Let's look at how services/ products are delivered in the online coaching space and whether the rationale of “I'm charging my worth'' is enough to charge a high-ticket?     Don't miss this episode!  For more resources visit https://christinemeansbusiness.com

Is it absolutely necessary?   All these questions I will answer in today's podcast episode of Christine Means Business. I've conducted over 20 interviews with highly successful entrepreneurs from all kinds of different backgrounds. One thing that has come up over and over again, is that at some point they all face the same challenge, and that’s team management!    The truth of the matter is that you cannot do it on your own. When you start out as an entrepreneur, you kind of do it all by yourself. You wear 1000 hats. You do your marketing, you do your content creation, you do client work, you do finances, you do it all! In today's episode, we will have a look at how you manage a team effectively. How you hire or fire the right way  What you need in place once you hire someone    Don't miss this episode!   For more resources visit https://christinemeansbusiness.com
Often when I ask people why they chose to go into business, they’ll say because they wanted to have more time for their family or they wanted to make a living doing what they love, and so on. Those are great ideas, however, I want to remind you that business is not easy. You need a lot of resilience and you need to have continuous motivation. That is where vision and mission come in. In today's episode, we will have a look at mission vs vision for your business and startup success What is the difference between a Vision and a Mission? Can your Mission be too big or too small? Does your Mission make sense? What your road map could look like Don't miss this episode! For more resources visit https://christinemeansbusiness.com

When you think of a brand, what comes to your mind? Is it Nike, Mcdonald's, or Starbucks? Big logos, bright colors, and different fonts? Do you know what your values are as an entrepreneur? Do you have clarity around how you show up in your business? Are you showing up authentically in your business or are you showing up in a way you think you should? If you take a look at my Instagram page, and you scroll down quite a bit, you will see me in a suit, with my hair and make-up done, very businesswoman-like. These photos were taken when I first started my entrepreneurial journey and the reason I presented myself that way was because I thought that I wanted to attract clients like that. Today? Today, I don’t care what other people want or don’t want to see. Having clarity around this is crucial for your business and this is one of the reasons I was so excited to welcome Sue Lundquist to our Christine Means Business Podcast. In this episode you will hear: - How to get clear on your business culture - What is your personal code of conduct (PCC) - How to have gratitude and appreciation If you want to learn more about Sue, visit Clarity with Sue  (https://www.claritywithsue.com/) and connect with her on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/claritywithsue/). Let's talk about something that might seem scary, especially for solopreneurs, because it's something that we don't really know a lot about, and that is scaling. Wayne Mullins, the Founder and CEO of Ugly Mug Marketing joins me for this episode of the Christine Means Business podcast to discuss this "scary" topic of scaling. When it comes to scaling your business, Wayne explains that there is a difference between scaling and growth. When growth is occurring, it requires constant effort to get the growth you want; scaling, on the other hand, happens on the downhill, meaning it happens as a consequence of the systems, the processes, the procedures, the people that you have in place. So, the difference is - will the business continue thriving and growing when you are removed from that piece? When you have your business organized in such a way that growth continues, because of all those other elements, besides your constant effort and push, that's scaling. In this episode you will hear: - What taking a risk means and no it doesn't mean being reckless - The difference between scaling and growth - What the artisan trap is - How to chose what comes naturally to you To learn more about Wayne and his business, you can visit his website https://www.uglymugmarketing.com/ and check out his Instagram https://www.instagram.com/fireyourself/ For more resources visit https://christinemeansbusiness.com

Quitting is for losers, you need to finish what you started.... I am sure you've heard that before right?! Most of us grew up with a perception that, when it comes to work, you should focus on one thing and pretty much do it for the rest of your life. Well… right now I am at business No. 3 and I have no plans to stop anytime soon. Why? Because I am a multi-passionate, serial entrepreneur. In today's podcast episode I want to give you permission to shift your business, to pivot, to change things up. Changing your mind is not a bad thing, it doesn’t mean that you’re not taking your business seriously. It simply means that your passion, your fire is changing and you want to go after it. My guest, Giorgia Guazzarotti is a multi-passionate entrepreneur who after years of starting niche businesses and shutting them down when the passion disappeared, decided to incorporate all her passions into one coaching business. Today she helps other creative and multi-passionate women create thriving businesses without niching down and overcoming all the old stories and limiting beliefs that keep them stuck and broke. Because most of Giorgia’s clients come to her confused and overwhelmed, she has put together an amazing free guide that takes you through a process of how to identify and combine your passions into a business and get you clear on your mission you want your business to fulfill. This guide will also help you identify which passions fit best into your business and can help you deliver your services, and which passions are more in the background, supporting your business. So make sure to grab this amazing guide by heading over to The Treasure within. For more info and to connect with Giorgia, visit her website The Treasure within, her Instagram and Facebook.
