In a preview of his 2019 Southwest Fox sessions, Eric Selje compares Visual FoxPro Advanced and X-Sharp, offering his take on how VFP developers can take advantage of these new tools.
Rick Borup has been working in the FoxPro community for years. In recent years, he has shown Mercurial as his version control system of choice but at this year's Southwest Fox, he'll be showing how developers can take advantage of Git. He's also got a new tool under his belt - a little database that makes sense for FoxPro developers who are looking for a fast and easy (and portable) DB. After so many years, XBASE is coming to DotNet!!! Note that I said xBase and not VFP. The xSharp project is an initiative for all xBase devotees, supporting Visual object, clipper and VFP syntax.
