Do you love yourself?

Do you love yourself?

2020-11-0510:05

The night before my birthday, this was my prayer for my new year. Loving yourself is key to being and living authentically. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/omobolanle/message
Do you have flaws or addictions? Here's a perspective you should consider if you really want to over come them. 1Peter 4:1-2 :Since Jesus went through everything you’re going through and more, learn to think like him. Think of your sufferings as a weaning from that old sinful habit of always expecting to get your own way. Then you’ll be able to live out your days free to pursue what God wants instead of being tyrannized by what you want. 1 Peter 4:1‭-‬2 MSG --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/omobolanle/message
I had hinted about a challenge I had with talking about Jesus and being shameless about it (theres isn't any shame in it anyway. On this episode, I ask my friend Ore what her perspective is and what her journey has been like. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/omobolanle/message

Have you ever felt like there wasn't much to you or you know there's more but it feels out of reach? I know that feeling too On this episode, I share from personal experience how I am walking this path and living my life and harnessing my latent potentials intentionally. Everyone has grate potential and sometimes, we overlook it for several reasons; fear, negative self-defeating mindsets or a bitter past, this episode is a couch bant where I'm just pouring out my heart about how I'm loving the growing I'm experiencing by unearthing and putting to use potentials i didn't think i had or could not use.  Follow on Instagram Send me an email --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/omobolanle/message

Media and Sexuality

Media and Sexuality

2020-06-1110:241

The media has influenced the way we perceive a lot of things, one of them is sex and sexuality. Why do we accept certain things? We may not have consciously decided to absolve some of these values or ways of life but because we are consistently fed with warped ideas of what is acceptable, we unconsciously define our ideals by them. Living intentionally, entails making conscious decisions about what media content we take in and also being able to sift through what we are being fed and discard warped ideas. But hey! These are my thoughts. I'd love to hear from you. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/omobolanle/message
Speak Up! Speak Life!

Speak Up! Speak Life!

2020-06-0411:191

Catch up episode on the trending issues; Black Lives Matter in America (and all over the world really) and Rape cases and sexual violence in Nigeria. It's time to SPEAK UP and lend a voice to the causes but it's also important to SPEAK LIFE. Generalized labels on genders or leaders or situation should not be the way to go, if anything its time to speak life and remain optimistic.    --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/omobolanle/message
This week, I've been talking about working through hurtful experiences. On this episode, I talk about how the experiences work for our good. This isn't the default thought that occurs to anyone and its definitely not a reason why anyone should be in hurtful circumstances. But, in the spirit of making lemonades out of lemons, we can turn the worst situations to our favor. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/omobolanle/message
Waiting well.

When we have prayed and believed we have been heard, the devil comes just then, when our breakthrough is so close to distract us with the opposite of what we have received. This episode speaks to encourage you to maintain your joy in spite of the devil and to keep your eyes focused on the promises you have received. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/omobolanle/message
On this episode, I talk about another awakening that my podcast journey has afforded me. Yet another layer of "people pleasing" has been peeled off. While I totally support constantly working on being a better person, sometimes the lines get blurred and we get carried away with being someone we really aren't. Surely, I'm not alone in this. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/omobolanle/message
This episode is not an exclusive representation of the only way you can make the most of these times, but it is one out of the several ways you can identify what you should be doing in these times. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/omobolanle/message

It's an important time to talk about these things. I and my friends have experienced racism. It's a horrible thing to go through.
