Description

There has been a leadership vacuum in the Black Community for the last 60 years. This leadership vacuum has been the number one detriment to our community. It has been the major reason why our community continues to lag in education, entrepreneurship, and politic influence. It has also contributed to a rise in gangs, crime, and the lack of any sense of community unity.

This podcast has one goal, to facilitate the creation of a National Organization structured to assist Black communities in their efforts to repair their communities and to rekindle the greatness of our Ancestors.

Politics in America is a cutthroat game. Year after year, decade after decade Black Americans vote; however, we rarely see any significant progress regarding the issues that affect our communities. We stand on the voting line for hours and hours to place our vote; but after the dust settles, we are left empty-handed. This podcast explains how to change this. Black America Rising if dedicated to the formation of a National Organization with the purpose of addressing the concerns and issues effecting Black Americans. This begins with Intelligent, brave, and moral Black Leadership, which we currently are clearly lacking today! Black America Rising offers solutions not rhetoric.
The political climate in America is toxic and dangerous.  The rhetoric is antagonistic, hate-filled, and divisive. Why would our political leaders, who are supposed to be intelligent and reasonable individuals, participate in such negative and destructive behavior?  In this podcast, I will reveal what I believe to be the impetus for the unpatriotic and dangerous political climate in America.
Our Children are our future.  If we don't protect them our future is dismal, bleak, and scary.  Our communities must find a way to rid our communities of crime and violence if we want to give our children a chance to grow, compete and prosper. The world is rapidly moving in a technical direction.  The future of jobs, careers, and business will be of a technical nature.  If you lack technical skills you will be left out of the job market. You won't be able to start a business.  If our children are not given the environment and support to compete, they will be relegated to the fringes of society.  This episode talks blatantly and honestly about what we need to do to save our babies.
The unity of a people is always based on something that is bigger than any individual.  No one man or woman can be the salvation of a people because when that individual dies the unity becomes fragmented due to a leadership vacuum.  Embracing our ancestral culture and spirituality has been something we, African Americans, the descendants of enslaved Africans, have never seriously considered.  Why is this?  This episode offers a unique perspective as to why we are reluctant to reconnect with our true history, culture, and spirituality.
