Adam Elliott-Cooper is a Research Associate at school of humanities in University of Greenwich. He received his PhD from the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford, in 2016. In this addition I talked to Carlos Tanner who initiated The Ayahuasca Foundation in 2008. Carlos Tanner, an American and student of curanderismo. After living and studying with a curandero for over four years, Carlos worked to provide a safe and effective way for people to not only receive treatment in the healing tradition of the Amazon but also to study the tradition, the way he had with his maestro. The idea for the Ayahuasca Foundation was born from a desire to spread the science of plant medicine back into the world.

Simon Ruffell graduated with a degree in medicine from the University of Sheffield before specialising in psychiatry. He has an interest in transcultural psychiatry, working overseas in Northern Uganda. He has a special interest in psychedelic research, namely ayahuasca and has spent the last three years conducting research into the use of ayahuasca in a traditional, shamanistic setting in the Peruvian Amazon.IMG Credit: Mark Henson

Özlem has shared with us the research project  showing the effects of gender inequality, wages, wealth concentration and fiscal policy on macroeconomic performance in the UK.We talked about the important of including ecological aspects of our planet in policy making and how to rethink of investing in social infrastructural so that topics of sensitive nature can be resolved and that could lead towards the growth without disparity for particular groups.These findings will also be presented at an international conference on 14 October 5.00 pm at Greenwich.A_Policy_Mix_for_Equitable_Sustainable_Development_in_the_UK 2019image-credit: RSA| Michael Sandel

Book: Mathematics at the Meridian: The History of Mathematics at GreenwichWe talked about the time itself and the rich heritage of greenwich and its connection with the stars through royal observatory. Historical realities of gender and race in past at our institutes in the era of great expanse. Using Math as an industrialised tool to homogenize perspectives and intelligence in future generations.

We talked about the connection between purity and abstraction. How mathematics can help brain by providing tools for navigating the spirals of life.  Can mathematics be helpful when discussing freewill. 

We talked about the future of our diverse cities and the connection between the representation of internal honesty in building our exterior hives. Beauty to be found through inclusion of lifeforms which sapiens have declared others.

She is a member of the Board of Trustees and Advisory Group of Electronics Watch.
