Adam Elliott-Cooper is a Research Associate at school of humanities in University of Greenwich. He received his PhD from the School of Geography and the Environment, University of Oxford, in 2016. In this addition I talked to Carlos Tanner who initiated The Ayahuasca Foundation in 2008. Carlos Tanner, an American and student of curanderismo. After living and studying with a curandero for over four years, Carlos worked to provide a safe and effective way for people to not only receive treatment in the healing tradition of the Amazon but also to study the tradition, the way he had with his maestro. The idea for the Ayahuasca Foundation was born from a desire to spread the science of plant medicine back into the world.

Simon Ruffell graduated with a degree in medicine from the University of Sheffield before specialising in psychiatry. He has an interest in transcultural psychiatry, working overseas in Northern Uganda. He has a special interest in psychedelic research, namely ayahuasca and has spent the last three years conducting research into the use of ayahuasca in a traditional, shamanistic setting in the Peruvian Amazon.IMG Credit: Mark Henson

Her research and interests are regarding insect sensory physiology, neurobiology and behaviour to increase our capacity to manage vector-borne diseases of humans and livestock, chiefly focusing on malarial mosquitoes in sub-Saharan Africa.
Darrick is Head of Law & Criminology in University of Greenwich. Darrick was Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology and Senior Lecturer in Criminology before joining Greenwich We talked about types of empathy, it's role in crime and society, how as humans we deal with prisoners and the future of our justice system.
Her research specialisation is in migration and urban studies from a gendered perspective and has published a wide range of articles, special issues and policy reports on these themes. 
Dr. Gavin Rand is a Principal Lecturer in History Department at University of Greenwich. Gavin's work explores the transmissions between Britain and empire in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, with a particular focus on the cultural history of the imperial military in South Asia. We talked about his research on partition of Indo-Pak 1947 & military operations in Waziristan.
