It's finally here! The year end awards you've all been waiting for, the Undy's!!! We give away 20+ awards from catagories including: "Faction of the Year", "Tag Team of the Year", "Most Charismatic", "Face/Heel Turn of the Year", "Entrance Music" and of course, the biggies like "Event of the Year" Match of the Year" "Male/Female Superstar of the Year". It's a lot of fun with some awesome reflection on the great wrestling year that was 2023!
As 2023 winds down, and we get ready for our year end awards show coming up, we wanted to catch up on all things wrestling heading into 2024. We discuss the rise in popularity of WWE, the new signings and where they fit in long term. We disucss what we think will happen with AEW and TNA going forward. And as a special holiday treat, we preview next weeks Undy Award show by giving away our first two year end awards!
Timebomb Pro invited us up to Fargo once again, and as always, it did not dissapoint! We were granted accesse to the Timebomb roster, namely Jah-C, Conner Hopkins, Jordan and Brandon Gore! Four first time interviews from some eclectic, charasmatic and entertaining individuals! We hash out our 2022 Year End Awards as only we can, by giving away our Undy's! 20+ catagories, including Rivalry of the Year, Faction of the Year, Entrance Theme of the Year, Finisher of the Year as well as traditional catagories like Male/Female, Tag, Shocking moment, Event of the Year and Match of the Year! With only a handful of unanimous winners, there is plenty of conversation and good times! Enjoy!
In Episode 85, we run through the year end shows for both AEW (New Years Smash) and WWE (SmackDown) and go over all of our favorite moments and where we think they take us in 2023! We also get to finally talk Wrestle Kingdom 17! We give our predictions and betting odds for the top 5 matches on the card! We bet real, imaginary dollarbucks and the winner gets bragging rights for a whole 20 minutes! Our final segment is succinctly called "Things we are excited to see in 2023 in WWE" and it's as fun as the title is catchy!
We get a chance to walk through our thoughts on AEW's Winter is Coming as well as SmackDown. MJF and Ricky Starks becoming the pillars of the roster, Double J taking screen time from younger talent, The Elite and Death Triangle and their love of hammers! Along with our reactions to Uncle Howdy making his live debut, and Sammy not quite getting what he wanted. We also talk about our year end awards show next week and of course, gotta plug Timebomb Pro and their Holiday Hell show in Fargo later this week!
With ROH's final PPV of 2022 in the books, we take a look at the Final Battle card as well as the Zero Hour pre-show, and give our thoughts, opinions, thumbs up and thumbs downs. We also discuss Honor Club being brought back in 2023, as well as other odds and ends in the wrestling world!
We talk Smackdown and Rampage from last week, as well as a preview of ROH's Final Battle coming up on Dec. 10th! In the second half of the show, we get a chance to talk to the owner of Timebomb Pro as well as their Champion, Bryan Keith! We also look ahead to WrestleKingdom 17 with our preview of the 5 matches currently announced. Also in this episode, we look at what suprise entrants could grace us at the Royal Rumble 2023.
