Doctor Who Gives A F*ck

In which three tired podcasters gather for the last time - and we mean it this time - to give a lengthy eulogy to Ncuti Gatwa’s tenure, Doctor Who / Disney Who, and this very podcast.  JB, Sean and Lelon give their most scathing review ever as they try to figure out what the f*ck happened in “Wish World” and “The Reality War”.  Thank you all for listening, and take care.

JB, Sean & Lelon continue their journey through Series Two of Disney Who with their reviews of “Lucky Day”, “The Story and the Engine” and “The Interstellar Song Contest”, and although Russel T Davies didn’t write any of these, the fearless three find his DNA all over them.

JB and Sean are joined by Lelon Stoldt for this round of Disney Who episode reviews.  And though we all dump on “The Robot Revolution”, we actually have a lot of nice things to say about “Lux” and “The Well”.  Is RTD setting us up for another disappointing series finale, or will he actually stick the landing this time? In any event, f*ck him for killing the cat!

JB, Sean and Chris return after a long absence from Doctor Who podcasting to discuss and review the 2024 Christmas Special, "Joy to the World".  This one gets really dark as - CONTENT WARNING - we have frank discussions on suicide, drug use, hotel trysts and wanking parties.  Happy Holidays.

It’s been a good four years, but it’s time for this journey to end.  JB, Chris and Sean see the current series of “Disney Who” off with a lengthy and rant-filled discussion of “Dot and Bubble”, “Rogue”, “The Legend of Ruby Sunday”, and “Empire of Death”.  The podcast will come back now and then with one-off episodes, but this is pretty much the end of the line as far as monthly episodes. In which one podcaster is talked off the ledge, and the other two podcasters attempt to guess which plot synopsis are actual Big Finish stories or are completely made up before they all call it a hiatus.  We’re taking a break and will be back when the new television episodes start airing because we just don’t give a f*ck about talking about companion departures and other bullsh*t.  Happy Mardi Gras!

Sean may or may not be plotting his husband’s death on a cruise.  Chris attempts to quit smoking.  JB can’t choose between soda and pop in the grocery aisle.

In which our fearless three want to take in some tasty treats, but they’ve run out of spoons.  It’s our review/commentary of “The Church on Ruby Road”.  Also JB goes to Fan Expo and tries not to piss off the fairies, Chris becomes a king for three minutes, and Sean may be plotting to kill his husband on a cruise crossing international waters, but you won’t hear that last bit until JB puts out the next bonus podcast because this episode is an hour-and-a-half long already.

Despite the title of this episode, our three fearless podcasters have mostly nice things to say about the three 60th Anniversary Specials.  Like the Tenant Doctor, JB, Chris & Sean come to terms with slowing down in their advanced ages while the world of Doctor Who moves on to a more fantastical direction.  It gets kinda philosophical, but we get in a few lewd comments along the way (hence the double meaning of the podcast episode).

There was a lot of stuff that went on in the world of Doctor Who pre-60th anniversary that we really needed to discuss, however we’re again short one fucker as Chris has family obligations for Thanksgiving weekend.  On the eve of Doctor Who’s return to television, JB and Sean unpack the “Disney-fication” of “Tales of the Tardis”, the controversy of the “Children In Need” skit, the colorization and re-edit of “The Daleks”, and Tom Baker’s “mildly contemptuous” attitude toward his fellow Doctors.

In which two out of three ain’t bad.  JB and Chris carry on while Sean is fully booked for the month with murder mysteries. They discuss “The 10 Most Hated Doctor Who Episodes”, dissect the 60th Anniversary trailer, discover their “birth episodes”, critique the “new” version of the theme tune, dive into the controversy over the rights to “An Unearthly Child”, theorize when our world jumped the timeline into the apocalypse, write the story where the Doctor meets Jesus, and attempt to figure out what the fuck is going on with Big Finish.  Featuring King’s metal version of the Doctor Who theme.

JB, Chris and Sean aim to take over the world and recruit their teams from a list of minions and henchmen/women spanning the entire history of the Doctor Who universe.
