Christ’s righteousness shows itself in our actions towards others as we walk righteously, speak up rightly, are aware of our sins and protect those who are poor.
Righteousness is given to us from Jesus and used for God’s glory and the benefit of others. When we exercise the righteousness of Christ, God will protect us and provide for us mightily in this life.
We’re called to love one another and receive those God brings to us for the purpose of intimacy, belonging, sharing needs and burdens and helping one another grow in the Christian faith.
The public ministry of the church involves Biblical justice and the desire to meet the needs of those around us with the gifts and resources that God gives us.
We are encouraged to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us along our path and strengthen us to keep us from falling back into a lifestyle of sin. We are encouraged to stand tall in Christ as free people.
God is the God of generosity with the greatest example being Jesus going to the cross in our place and for our sins. Being generous with our time, talents and treasures is a way is being a blessing to others.
Jesus gives us the definition and practice of true and sincere heart worship to God and the blessings it brings.
Knowing the heart of Jesus helps us understand the importance of being a servant of God for the blessings of those around us and for the glory of God.
God gives tremendous blessings through our mother’s and mom figures in our lives. Let’s come together today to honor our mother’s and mom figures and be thankful to God for their blessings.
One of the privileges of coming to Christ is becoming a child of God with a new living hope. This is given to us by God through His great love for us and is a huge blessing for us.
God has given us spiritual gifts to be used to be a blessing to others by the Holy Spirit’s leading.
Jesus offers us His example of how to love and act to show the grace of God to others
He rose from the dead on the third day to secure for us freedom from the power and consequences of sin and provide us eternal life.
Jesus ensured a most painful and humiliating death out of love for you and me. In the process, He bore our sins upon His soul to free us from the terrible consequence of sin-separation from God.
Jesus entered Jerusalem during His last week before going to the cross for our sins. We’ll discuss how He was received and what His first activity was to pave the way for the greatest sacrifice offered to provide us with our salvation.
