The episode today is additional information that I learned from our previous case the harassment of Bill and Dorothy Wacker . After the episode was recorded I had the privilege of talking to Peggy, Bill and Dorothy’s daughter. Peggy helped answer several questions that I still had about the case. I want to share with everyone some of the specific details that I learned. This information brings new light as to why the case was never solved.
Everybody knew Bill and Dorothy Wacker. They were a quiet retired couple that lived in the same town for most of their lives. They never caused any problems and simply did their own thing. What started as several break-ins, quickly escalated to physical assault and over a decade of harassment. How does someone harass a couple for over 10 years and not get caught? Despite an extensive investigation, one question remained. Who was responsible for making Bill and Dorothy Wackers life a living nightmare for so long?

OJ Is now a free man after serving just nine of his 33 year prison sentence. Did the juries reach the correct conclusions? We will review the evidence one more time so you can decide for yourself. There’s one additional witness that you probably haven’t heard of before. She could have potentially put OJ just blocks away from the crime scene the night of the Murders. Why did Jill Shively not take the stand during the criminal trial?
OJ has been found not guilty in the criminal trial but he wasn’t so lucky in the civil trial. At this point you would think he would do everything possible to avoid further trouble. Nope, not OJ. Remember the items he hid from the victims families to avoid being sold? Karma would find a way to get even. Likely the biggest shock of all is a book OJ helped write. It’s titled If I did it.
The trial quickly went off course with a horrible decision by the prosecution team. One they tried to recover from but the damage had been done. The Goldman family remained determined to get justice for Ron. The day the verdict was read, Robert Shapiro gave an interview that raised serious questions about tactics used by the defense team.
The trial is going strong and the odds are not in OJ’s favor. What appears to be a cut and dry case became much more complicated. Between poor police practices and bold accusations by the defense team many questions arise.
Where did OJ go? The search was on. When the Bronco was located, the chase began. The chase was watched by an incredible 95 million people. Game five of the NBA finals was even cut into to show it. However, it wasn’t your typical car chase. When the dust settled, several very questionable items were found inside the Bronco. Once the trial began, Judge Lance Ito made a very controversial decision. It would soon become one of the closest followed criminal cases in the history of the United States. To put it into perspective, 90 million people had watched the Super Bowl that year.
