Description

'Six of the Best’ is an original concept podcast series from Blatantly Blunt offering intimate conversations with accomplished artists. It digs up the musical legacy of the projects they loved growing up and highlights albums or singles from their own output. The program offers listeners some insightful retrospectives that they’ve almost certainly never heard before, penetrating the minds of respected names in the industry. Each episode kicks off with our guest sharing some reflections and insights on three albums or songs that, in their youth, shaped their creative identity. During the second half of the show, our guest explores three songs from their own discographies and reveal the momentous releases that have shaped their reputation and elevated their status. Six of the Best is produced by Blatantly Blunt - a multichannel digital media outlet specializing in hip hop, grime, reggae and afrobeat. We began curating and promoting progressive new music and groundbreaking artists in 2008 through the blog, radio show series, social media content, live events, and podcasts.
