I regret to inform you this is the end... of season one.  I'm sorry, couldn't resist that one. Mythsterhood listener Joshua Boucher joined the three of us in our first ever live episode, in which we discussed everything expected and unexpected from this year full of dragons.  It's been quite the adventure and we wouldn't have made it this far without the support of our listeners, the members of our Discord community, and especially our patrons. Thank you Andrew and Lizzie, for your continued support, and an extra special thank you to new patron Bryan Soares. Knowing you appreciate our work means the world to us, and it's what keeps us going even when chaos reigns. The Mythsterhood of the Travelling Tales will be taking a bit of a break in between seasons, to prepare for next season, so it will be a bit longer until our next adventure, but we will be back and until then, the three of us wish you days like dragons greeting clouds. Hello Mythsters, And welcome to the last official episode of our first season. It has been quite the adventure, and we're a bit sad to see it come to an end. But we'll be back with a new season. This is what we console ourselves with (somewhat) as we take a look at our last bouquet of dragons. Want to talk dragons while we prepare for season two? Come find us on our Discord Server at https://discord.com/invite/G3PRfrU, Come and find @mythsterhood on Twitter, or shoot us an email at mythsterhood@gmail.com. With Anike being sick and life being a bit hectic for Koji and Jaz, we're running behind with the podcast transcripts, but this too will be made available on our website Mythsterhood.com as soon as we can get it done. Hello hello, mythsters, Opening the episode this week with a pre-emptive apology for listeners with sensitive ears. And we mean that quite literally. We had some technical issues, so this week's audio quality is not what we would like it to be, for which we'd like to apologise. But let's move on to the episode. This is the third part of our trip across the British Isles. We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we did. As always, we welcome anyone who wants to come and have a look at our Discord community either to hang out, or to take part in the ongoing poetry game that will end up being a part of our end-of-season episode! Hello hello Mythsters, Episode twenty is the first one ever to bring on a surprise guest. We had a ton of fun, and hope to be able to do this kind of episode more often.  As Jaz is learning more about audio edits flexing her audio wiz muscles, you may hear a few other surprise elements. We hope you enjoy them!  We did have a few call backs to previous episodes: The Fire-Drake Who Slayed Beowulf Dragons of the Baltic Dragons of Turkey The Mother of Dragons And last but not least, if you too would like to be a part of our final episode, or just want to get sneak peeks at Anike's art or hang out with us, come and visit Mythsterhood of the Travelling Tales Discord server! We want to celebrate the end of a year of dragons and fun together with all of you. A channel has been made for this purpose on our Mythsterhood server, and anyone who wants to join in on the festivities and be a part of the final episode of the season is welcome to come and see what's going on. Want to find out what this is all about? Click here come and visit our little corner of the internet! Later Mythsters!
Hello hello, mythsters, For this episode, Anike and Jaz took a closer look at the dragons found in Central Europe. Of course our old pal, Saint George had to make another appearance, but we also found a few interesting stories that certainly debunk the popular Western take on dragons, as being flying, flamey virgin eaters. Outtakes this week are mostly made up of disruptions of canine origin, although Jaz's mush-for-brains certainly contributed as well. A full transcript will be made available on our website as soon as we finish it, as usual. But without further ado, onwards! Hello hello Mythsters, Welcome to the sunny Mediterranean region, where Jaz and Anike took a closer look at some of the dragons from Greece, Italy, and the Iberian peninsula, and boy, did they find some surprising stuff, alongside the Greek classics. As usual, a full transcript will be made available on our website as soon as we finish it. Let's have some dragons! Welcome to episode 17, in which Koji and Anike begin that part of our journey that will take us deeper and deeper into Europe, and where we discover our first dragonrider. How awesome is that? As usual, of course, a full transcript will be made available on our website. So without further ado, let's dig in. Later Mythsters! Welcome to episode 16, and the second episode we'll be spending in Africa. The Southern part of Africa, to be precise. Anike's homeland! A full transcript will be made available as soon as we can get it finished. Now let's get this dragon on the road! Later Mythsters! Hello hello Mythsters, And welcome to our first regular episode of 2O21, in which the plan is to discuss those dragons found in the Northen half of the African continent. That turned out a bit ambitious, but more dragons will be discussed in next week's blog, of course. Links mentioned: Just one this week and that's the anthology in which Koji's award-longlisted story Soulshine was published, and which is available with a set-your-own-price deal. Click here to check it out! A full transcript of the show can, as always, be found at Mythsterhood.com along with more draconic goodness.  Now, let's get this dragon on the road! So, in honour of the halfway point, which we passed right after our exploration of Russian dragons in episode 12, we passed our halfway point in the destinations we settled on for season 1, we decided to have a chat about what this project has meant to us as well as answer some questions lovingly provided by the members of our Discord community. Content warning for giggles, but we did manage to keep side quests to a minimum. Now, without further ado, let's get to it! Later Mythsters! Hello mythsters, And welcome to a very special episode: the first one in which all three of us are recording together. Much giggles ensued, as one might expect, and we had a lot of fun discussing a slice of dragon mythology of very special interest to Koji.  A full transcript will be made available at Mythsterhood.com of course. So, without further ado, let's bring on those dragons. Theme music: Wanderer by Alexander Nakarada (serpentsoundstudios.com) Licensed under Creative Commons BY Attribution 4.0 License

Hello, Mythsters, and welcome to the first episode of the second half of this season. We're only two weeks away from celebrating our six month anniversary of whispering in your ears every fortnight. This week, we visited sunny Egypt. As promised, we have, of course, some links for you: Come and visit us in our Discord Community, for sneak previews of each episode's art, as well as the chance to add your two cents for our celebratory bonus episode. And for our side quest, some more information about the mysterious Hatshepsut: The Exploress podcast, a femcentric history podcast and a regular on Jaz's podcatcher, did a two part episode on women who ruled Egypt. The resources list is also fairly extensive and absolutely worth a browse. And, as always, a full transcript will be made available on our website. But without further ado, we'll let you get on with the podcast and meet today's dragons! Later Mythsters! Hello, Mythsters!

Anike and I just stopped by for a tiny little announcement: With our last episode, where we visited Russia, The Mythsterhood of the Travelling Tales has hit the halfway point in its first season! Can you believe it? Because we sure can't. Koji, Anike, and I wanted to celebrate this with a special episode in which the three us us have a chat and talk about what we've learned and how we look back on the last six or so months. And we wanted to give all of you a chance to ask us any questions you might have. A special channel has been created on our Mythsterhood Discord Community, especially for this purpose, so don't be a stranger! Later Mythsters!
