I'm picturing a critical micromanaging home life that broke his mind when he went away and got a taste of freedom but he couldn't break free. of course mommy will deny their relationship was anything but perfect rather than accept any responsibility for driving him to this.

Karen is an annoying helicopter parent and I think he got sick of her crap. Mommy sent the highway patrol to check on him?!! That kind of meddling really messes with a man's head.

Was the DNA tested against her female Co- workers at DePree chemical?? Someone could have let the dog out, then attacked her. The detectives said the dog approached her friend at her car, so he was outside.

The documentary Nina was in (Fog of Murder, season 1,episode 5 - Tracking a killer) gives further insight into Alisson's case...Toby's wife seems very apologetic but fact is, she had the chance to inform the police.
Nina looks exactly like I pictured her (maybe not the purple hair but it suits her 😊)! Nice to see who owns this soothing voice.

Great story but I see absolutely no reason to complain about the coverage that black women get when they get killed. I would worry more about ALL the black men that are killing them. When something happens frequently it tends to get covered less.

I'm sorry but being interested in a man because he drives a luxury car seems very superficial.

You don't walk your dog in winter, when there are minus degrees? Where does the poor creature urinate or defecate during that time?

Please get rid of the new background music! So distracting, annoying and unnecessary.

So his mom can be seen entering the mall, walking around and then - what? Did she all of a sudden start looking around, claiming that her boy disappeared from her side? And nobody came forward to say that there was no boy? This all sounds really strange and as if this case was dealt with sloppily!

Poor sweet boy. This makes me so angry. She clearly never missed a meal. They are horrible individuals.

"Hey, let's kill Steph" is not a phrase I was expecting. The casual way it's said is what's so chilling.

The "man" who left the message for Debbie , is the one I would bet my life on that did it.The police didnt give a shit.......From all of the murders that were never "investigated", you always hear of a person leaving town. Nine times out of 10 they are the guilty one.How loud do they need to yell ? ......It is amazing to me how easy it is to get away with murder in this country.

so glad you did this story! I used to go to the store she was abducted from it was Provenzano's at the time. it's Genessee Market now. I remember this like it was yesterday. Horrifying what these guys did to her and disgusting that the people she was shown off to never called the police. they should all have been charged in my opinion
This podcast is great
