It may be worth considering a read of the book Love and Sex with Robots by David Levy
Great show as always guys. Captured it perfectly. I agree with the difference of notification vs buy everything. People hate ones that use the latter. And personally as I see you can basically can't buy something without the former. I only was able to buy my RTX 3080FE and 5600X due to one of these Discord servers. Which I'm still a part of. Fun part is its free and I saw how it grew from sub 20 000 to 75 000 members right now. And even with those notifications, it took me 2 and half months to get the GPU. Which is around 10 attempts! So w/o that notification bot combating fully automated bots, there's zero chance I could have bought one even today. Because I have never seen RTX30 series GPU go on sale for more than 5 minute. Sometimes even 1 min. There were very few occasions which this time window was 10 minutes. Which is ridiculous. The culprit is the fully automated bots as none of the legitimate users can even dream about buying one w/o a timely notification.
This is a great podcast, but I'm sorry - the ad spots are unbearably long. I want to learn things, not listen to ads.
hey WWT, just a random thought but your music theme is excellent. I find myself randomly hearing it in my mind. Its delightful.
I'm one of those people who posts 1000s of reviews. Climbing up and up in Google Local Guide reputation tree. It's a combination of getting the reputation on the profile and also contributing to the platform as I extensively rely on others' reviews. Specially for my food adventures from wherever I visit!
too too too much ads!!
Love that 1-star chef - He's got (spicy meat) balls
Too much advertising! ☹️
I graduated from high school in 2016, and we had military recruiters from different branches coming to our school during lunch; we also had a JROTC branch on my school. It's still very prevalent, at least in the area I grew up in.
Anyone looking to download these podcasts should know there are a pile of ads throughout this show.
dump thus channel, commercial too long
Hey Wild Wild Tech, question... If you believe a.i. generated music should be public domain, do you also believe a.i. generated literary works should be considered public domain? If so, how would it affect writers?
Found the cast today, listened throughout the day at work. I was quickly hooked. Great job you guys :) Couldn't have a better host either. The bubbly inquisitiveness mixed with the oh so pleasant accent makes for an easy listen. Stay Safe yall🙏 -Dorian P.
Can tell this is made in 2020, 7 minutes in and comment about racism, the reason game developers using tribes & cultures for inspiration = racism now. Stuck with it & was a good listen.
1st time listener and I have to say the questions posed by hosts & the topic are intriguing and i will be returning. thanks for your work!
