His policy racket made him a fortune, earning the title of "Negro Gambling King of Chicago." Later in his career, Johnson opened the exclusively white Frontenac Club on the second floor of 239 22nd Street (Now 41 W 22nd) with other gambling kingpins Bill Lewis and Tom McGinnis. The King of Aspromonte

Giuseppe Musolino was called the "King of Aspromonte" for his astonishing story. A founding father of the early 'Ndrangheta, Musolino's murderous tale has been referred to as the greatest criminal legend in Italian history.  This story comes from John Dickie’s fascinating book Blood Brotherhood’s. I definitely recommend this book!

I'm really trying to like this podcast but this guy doesn't seem prepared. He keeps saying um and uh which is annoying. Plus there is some rattling noise in the background. I'll give it a couple more episodes and if it's not better I'm leaving!
