Zaak goes to the Guatemala City to pick up a team of 19 people from BC, Canada. The team leads a children's ministry in Purulah, a town that this ministry has had no previous contact with, but has been invited to work in. We follow the progress of the ministry, including a challenging final day. We end up in Antigua, the day before the team leaves, learning about the blend of Mayan beliefs and Catholicism.
Zaak, Amber and Blaise fly into their new country of residence, Guatemala. Immediately there are things to do, not the least of which is delivering aid to the people hit hard by the mudslides caused by hurricane Stan.
