They’ve been racking up the sales and accolades since 1983, HONEYMOON SUITE has moved over 1 million records worldwide and won the JUNO Award for Group of the Year in 1986. The band has many songs placed in major motion pictures and TV over the years such as the hugely successful Miami Vice TV series of the mid 80’s. In 2015, they were honored by Canadian radio for passing 100,000 plays of “New Girl Now” along with three of their other hits: “Burning In Love,” “Wave Babies” and “What Does It Take.” 2024. Even after 41 years, it isn’t enough for a band to merely remind you they’re still doing what they do. They need to reassure you they mean it. And that’s just what melodic-rock titans HONEYMOON SUITE are up to on the impassioned title track from their latest album, Alive.Following up on the 2022 deluxe reissue of their classic Clifton Hill album, and 2017’s Hands UpEP, Alive is their first full length in 16 years. Their last single, 2020’s “Find What You’re Looking For,” hurtled the group back into the Billboard Top 30 in their native Canada for the first time in nearly two decades and the material on Alive seems destined to follow suit. Produced by Canadian hit machine Mike (K) Krompass (whose résumé includes songwriting and production work for Meghan Trainor, Steven Tyler, Theory of a Deadman and Smash Mouth), the album is 10 new tracks of sonic heaven.  Both CD and colored vinyl are rounded out by fresh reproductions and modernized remixes of two big hits from the group’s thick catalog: 1988’s “Love Changes Everything” and 1983’s “New Girl Now,” which became their first radio and MTV smash after winning a homegrown-music competition sponsored by Toronto rock station Q107. The Canadian CD release also includes two exclusive acoustic versions of “Alive” and “Doesn’t Feel Like That” as bonus tracks. FULL INTERVIEW with Skynyrd guitar player Rickey Medlocke. Rickey released a brand new single "Never Run Out Of Road" all in support of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Woman Movement (MMIW). Rickey was an original member of the band Lynyrd Skynyrd dating back to the early 70's. He had left the band in the Mid 70's---he talks about how close he was to getting on the plane with the band on October 20th 1977 when members of the band perished in a horrific plane accident.   Rickey talks about Damon Johnson joining the band and about the songs and what it's been like to play in one of the most recognizable bands of our generation.

I found this interview that was done in 2018! It was with VICKY HAMILTON from Los Angeles who worked in booking and promoting many "Glam Bands" In the 80s. She be-friended and worked closely with Guns and Roses, Poison, Motley Crue and Stryper to name but a few.  This was back on MAX INK RADIO for BS LIVE ROCKS RADIO. I am writing a book in 2024 about interviews I have done over the years and came across this fun story.  Vicky worked for David Geffen when the label was amongst the biggest in Hollywood. She has a great book that came out 2016Appetite for Dysfunction check out her website www.vickyhamilton.com

Legendary rockers, Night Ranger are releasing a brand-new live album titled, 40 Years and a Night with Contemporary Youth Orchestra, that is due out October 20, 2023. The live album and live performance footage will be available on CD, Vinyl (including limited editions), DVD, Blu-ray, and digitally across all streaming platforms worldwide. This release comes as they approach the date it was recorded, just one year ago in Cleveland on November 9th 2022. The Contemporary Youth Orchestra (CYO) is made up of 80+ musicians aged 12 to 18, representing more than 40 schools in Ohio. It fosters students’ technical ability and creative growth in both an inspiring and supportive community. The students performed alongside Night Ranger throughout their entire set and these unique renditions of their greatest hits was also their first time ever performing with a symphonic orchestra live. All of this is what made this a truly once in a lifetime Night Ranger concert event.

CONEY HATCH CELEBRATES 40 YEARS WITH A NEW ALBUM ‘POSTCARD FROM GERMANY’ – OUT NOVEMBER 10THPERFORMING LIVE AT THE EL MOCAMBO - NOVEMBER 11th Coney Hatch, one of Canada’s iconic rock bands will release a live album titled “Postcard From Germany” via Anthem Records this Friday November 10th. In celebration of this release, Coney Hatch will perform their final live performance of 2023 at the famed El Mocambo in Toronto on Saturday, November 11th.“We’ve been halfway around the world this summer with shows at Sweden Rock and Hamburg, Germany,” says singer/bassist Andy Curran. “So, returning to the El Mocambo is a special homecoming for us. Lynch Mob was formed in 1989 after George Lynch parted ways with his former band Dokken. Their debut release “Wicked Sensation” was met with critical and fan acclaim and went on to be certified gold in sales by the RIAA.
