3 Mindset shifts to help you get out of your own way: 1. Everyone is doing the same thing as me We’re all experiencing things differently. That means your audience NEEDS to hear different perspectives. I know there are a bajillion people writing about those things, but I follow these people because I like how THEY do their thing. Try flipping this into → My experience makes me worth listening to. 2. I could never be as good as XYZ or do what they are doing TRUTH: Pretty much everyone had to slog away at their craft and make a bunch of really terrible stuff for a while to get where they are now.  Get excited for what will happen when you put in as many hours or years. How amazing your blog could look, how brilliant your business offerings, how HUGE your audience could be. Have patience, put in the time, and stop comparing your beginning to someone else’s hard earn accomplishments. Try flipping this into → If they did it I totally can too! 3. What if I fail, what if this doesn’t work This one is so hard because it’s almost always less about just screwing up and more about someone else noticing or even worse…pointing it out.
