2Coming February 2019. On Memorial Day in 2017, a mother and her son vanished from their home in the rural Alabama community of Holtville. Susan Osborne and Evan Chartrand haven't been seen or heard from since and their bodies have not been found. 2 months passed before their disappearance was reported to police. Susan's husband, Jerry, told police that Susan left him for another man but as police began investigating, they discovered he'd been keeping some big secrets and Susan’s best friend had proof. Did her Jerry's secrets lead to the disappearance of Susan & Evan? What happened to them? These are the questions we will explore in season one of Secrets True Crime, a serial podcast. We will be taking a close look into the lives of Susan and Evan, speaking with their family members, friends, teachers, neighbors, the sheriff and investigators assigned to their case. Their murders remain unsolved even though the crime is rumored to have been witnessed by a large crowd of people. excellent courageous integrity in investigating and reporting
sound is strange on this episode constantly fluctuating
Started out good, got my interest but as I got towards the last episodes the repetition got to be too much. The same stuff over and over again. The story could have been told in about 5 episodes.
No episode was ever released 2-3 weeks after this about the quarry.
They don’t care. These “people” in charge just don’t want to put in the effort to do their jobs. Bottom line, they will let him live “free” , unless he confesses. That way, their job is done for them. Those bodies will never be found.
The most dangerous place for a woman is in her own home.
Thank You for sharing this. These 2 dealths broke my heart. No reason and so much coverup. I do hope that all who were involved in this tragedy get their asses nailed to the wall.

I'm enjoying this so far but since I found it in 2020, it'd be really helpful if Seasons and episodes were part of each title, like "S3 E4 - abcxyz" because it's so hard for me to follow one story all the way through.

I'd be willing to bet that whoever is involved in Eric's murder would pay substantially more than $5000.00 for people to keep their mouth shut. Walker County thugs don't play around. They kill you.
The hunters said the truck was smoldering when they got BACK......How was the truck BEFORE , when they saw it ? .....They are so.......vague.
I can HEAR the fear in his voice.IF Roe did not kill him and that sweet dog, then that man KNOWS who did it.To me, that is just as bad.
