Dueling Decades is the totally awesome adult retro game show you've been looking for! Listen as the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s square off and do battle! Because it's your history, we just fight for it!

The rules of our game are simple! A coin flip shall decide who picks first, out of the 5 dueling decades categories (Movies, TV, Music, News, & Hot Products).

The judge’s ruling will determine who wins each round, allowing the victor to choose the next available category.

The first 3 rounds are worth 1 point each. With rounds 4 and 5, worth 2 points apiece. The winning decade shall be decided by the highest overall score after all 5 rounds.

This week we bring you a frighteningly good episode where we scare up all the best horror-themed selections from 1977, 1987, and 1997! Behind the bench, this week is AJ Diaferio frontman from the heavy metal band “We’re Wolves” AJ is a man of many talents and a huge fan of horror culture and movies so we knew he would be the right man to serve as judge, jury, and executioner for this delightfully dark duel! Marc James brings the scream greats from 1977 as Mancrush this time is back to the big bad ’80s with the horror of 1987! Mike Ranger is back and this time he wrangles up all the best frights from 1997!  I highly suggest listening to AJ's band We're Wolves softly in the background as you digest this episode! In this episode, you might hear something about nursery rhymes that begin with Klaatu Barada Nikto, the Torrance High School slayer, Lee Grant goes to Hell and hunts for dinner, massacre on Evergreen Terrace, vengeful wood carvings, evil French ticklers, sketchy Multiplex glory holes, Thunder in Paradise, spider wranglers, Marc goes SciFi, William Shatner saves the day, shapeshifting, Type O Negative covers Seals & Crofts, caught in a mosh with Stephen King, the real reason Mel Gibson became Martin Riggs, We're Wolves videos, you'll like my mother, The Weeknd is frightening, and Pluto is a gentleman! All this week and more! Do you agree with AJ's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! Please don't forget to subscribe and review! Want to share some of your own 1980s & 1990s memories? This week the Dueling Decades clan kick things into action with a special Martial Arts themed duel and we could not think of a better judge for this episode than the man who famously played “Karate Bad Boy” Mike Barnes in Karate Kid III. Actor, author, and producer, Sean Kanan returns to the show to share some stories and impart some wisdom from his new book ``The Way of The Cobra” but what will be the way to victory in this battle? The Media King of the North, Joe Findlay is Kung-Fu Fighting with the best martial arts picks from 1975. Mancrush is back to the 80s this week with all the spandex-laden high kicking action from 1985!  Marc James draws the 90s and he hopes his picks from 1995 will be The Best of The Best!  First, you should go check us out on YouTube (link is below)! Second, you might be saying to yourself "I don't even like Martial Arts". Wait, what?! Don't sweat it, I promise you'll still dig these picks! If you stick around, you might hear something about the most irresponsible camp to send your kids to, a news story straight out of the Robert Stack playbook, Off-Broadway fatalities, Eric Roberts big times a threequel, unlikely paths to stardom, Playboy models and gymnasts are a match made in Parmistan, Joe's pick took longer than Ali's fight, the real Karate Kid isn't from Newark, parachuting with 800 pounds of illicit powder, battle of the Bojangles Coliseum, Kanan rides with Carradine, kung-fu prostitutes, rubber karate chops and kung fu grips, don't mess with killer bees, you need the glow to grow, dudes who fight bears, Daniel don't do his own stunts, and kung-fu love songs! All this week and more! Do you agree with Sean's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself!  Please don't forget to subscribe and review! Want to share some of your own 1980s & 1990s memories? We're back with a special episode of Dueling Decades! It's one thing to ask one of our celebrity guest judges to part with an hour or two of their lives to deal with the Dueling Decades crew. Trust us, that in itself is a serious undertaking. When Monster Squad's Andre Gower joined Dueling Decades back in November as a guest judge, he told the crew he wanted to come back to play the game. Andre wasn't just being polite, he ACTUALLY showed up to compete! With that, Andre brushed up on the Dewey decimal system, dusted off his encyclopedia Britannicas, and brought the very best he could muster, from April 1986! Coming off a crushing loss last week, Mancrush looks to rebound with his second offering of April 1993. Rounding out the competition, holding up a peace sign, and smoking a doobie, Marc James is back with a righteous April of 1977. Oh wow, I forgot to tell you who the judge was! Our good friend from the Great White North, the future producer of the show, Joe Findlay steps behind the bench, and does an amazing job! Important info to unpack here! No show next week! We're taking a vacation from research this week. Instead of researching, we will be working on the LIVE version of Dueling Decades! That's right, soon you will be able to see our ugly mugs live, and you'll be able to judge from the LIVE Twitch chat! So check the Twitch link below, and subscribe there so you don't miss our soft launch episode on April 7th (9pmEST)! https://www.twitch.tv/duelingdecades Now, for THIS episode, you may hear something about: a piece of electronic equipment you can use to anchor a schooner, Mancrush unearths an unopened 28-year-old gem, Hildegard teaches Andre to juggle, home renovations gone awry, MacTaggert drops the feather duster, stupid people in love, cucking for a million bucks, backlot basketball with Woody Allen, being late isn't always a bad thing, honeybees around the fruit cage invade MTV, iconic 80s music videos, psychotic stalkers named Darrian, Rivera goes primetime, what you'd probably watch if you only had four channels, an iconic band goes on its final ride, the midnight Barbarian debuts, a regional sports network gets extremely brutal, the cold war, Wolfman's got nards, double-dipping dates, sweaty coke parties, huge mouths, and who is all going to the Mahoning Drive-in next month? All that, and much, much more! Do you agree with Joe's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! It's not every day you get a Grammy-nominated musician willing to guest judge an episode, but this week we got lucky. Although his band Plain White T's didn't blow up until the 2000s, Tom Higgenson is in love with the 80s! Matter of fact, he loves them so much, he started his own synth-pop solo project that's just dripping with nostalgia! So after you listen to this, head out and take a listen to his new solo work, Million Miler. Tom is a fantastic judge, and he calls em as he sees them! First up this week, back from returning tapes to the video store, Mike Ranger delivers a late "week experience" with March 1978. Mancrush drew Tom's favorite decade, but will it help? He brings the best of his third week of March 1986. Marc James rounds out the competition with a dandy offering from the third week of March 1996! If you're wondering, the new Million Miler album is coming in May, but you can already listen to a few of the new tracks on Spotify. Get ready for a real straight shooter, Tom has pretty even-keeled judging parameters! In this episode, you might hear something about: Not Jim Morrison's cousin releases a hit track, a platonic love story between coworkers, phone sex operators, Billboard chart-toppers you forgot, skanking made easy, Mike Ranger brings Cheese and Onions, a musician falls while another is almost fired, yoke filled aliens, Mike will win around with a little luck, the aftermath of Suge, suing psychics, balancing acts gone awry, HBO knocks out the competition, Michael Stivic's mustache, karate champs wear singlets, Delilah goes to the Grammys, Tom's new work with Milly, iCarly, Ringo Star, punk rock, and can I get a little cup of wrestling to go with my mayonnaise and shredded cabbage? Do you agree with Tom's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! It's that time of the week again! Your three favorite decades are back to battle for supremacy, in this week's "worst of" March duel! For this worst of episode, we went straight to the gum merchant himself, Scott Schiaffo to judge this tomfoolery! As it turns out Scott's a pretty positive thinking guy. So deciding which decade was the pits was really difficult for him to do! Don't you worry though, Scott still swings that gavel, and picks the biggest loser. First up, Joe Findlay does what he does best, and brings the very worst of March 1976. Marc James drew the big straw this week and delivers his worst findings of March 1983. And rounding out this week's turd trifecta, Mancrush counters with some serious trash from March of 1994. Scott is fantastic, he does such a great job deliberating all his picks, and his perspective on things is top-notch. If you ever see him at a convention, we totally recommend stopping by and saying hello (and take a picture of course)! In this episode, you may hear about unfortunate typos, traditions broken, vicious dogs attack me in sleepless nights of summer, the prequel to Mike and Molly, there's no gas at a sheep station, whoa this show sucks, Mark Wahlberg diss tracks, missing persons, the mysterious case of Tammy Lynn Leppert, what thirty million dollars of blow gets you, Howard Stern's tax returns cause a stir, a movie so bad a veteran director never worked again, drunk dudes, Findlay bringing the sadness, little clowns and ladder matches, what genetic engineering sounds like, Ace of Bass needs to make a comeback, the perils of addiction, a musician's unfortunate demise, and a whole lot more! Do you agree with Scott's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! Once again, the judging is doneeee, man! You asked for it, and Keith obliged. Back by popular demand, Keith Coogan is behind the bench to judge this battle between our favorite decades in, "the week experience"! Let's take a look at his toy soldiers this week. First up, a man that knows a little too much about adventures in babysitting, Trevor Gumbel takes his first crack at life in the 70s, with the best of the first week of March 1979. Next, a man that hasn't been hiding out from the win column, Mancrush brings the best of March 1st-7th, 1988 to the table. Rounding out the competition, it's don't tell mom that Marc James likes the Dead, with early March 1998! It was a joy having back another veteran judge like Keith! We tried to surprise Trevor and failed miserably when Mancrush put Keith's full name on the Zoom meeting title, wuh wuhhh. There are lots of goodies in the episode, including something about rusty instruments and Sesame Street, illiterate criminals, not really rings around Uranus, Trevor spoils a 40-year-old play, mom's swoon for Swayze, white Russians, wizards, Willie Carter's underground dance battles, Judge Reinhold was robbed, Coogan praises the Muppets, dudes who sing in speedos, Penthouse bush, Sally Field, reality television's pretend beginnings, bad movies vs unwatchable movies, the best television show you've never seen, the diabetes kid's club, Archie Bunker took big dumps, still waiting to cross the bridge at Rhode Island Comic Con, mysterious car alarms at The Mahoning Drive-in, and what the hell is Keith Coogan filming in New Jersey?! Do you agree with Keith's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! Everyone's favorite adult retro game show is back and we tee off the month with a best of March battle. This week we are honored to have the incredibly versatile writer-director-actor Joel Murray pick up the gavel. One Crazy Summer is one of our favorite films here at Dueling Decades and Joel’s portrayal of the best friend everyone wanted to have, George Calamari definitely left its mark on us. Joel has had an amazing career in film, TV, and animation, working on some of our favorites like Mad Men, Dharma & Greg, Monsters University, The Artist, and God Bless America directed by his good friend Bobcat Goldthwait.   So, Make sure your tray is in its upright position because Mancrush crashes into this one with the best of March 1977 aboard. Marc James asks whatcha’ gonna do when March 1987 runs wild on you? Also, Joe Findlay is back in action this week with the best of March 1997, Baby-Baby!  Joel swings the gavel like he swings a golf club; swift and hard! When Joel isn't delivering verdicts, he's sharing some incredible stories! So in this episode, you may hear something about the wrong way to console a widow, clueless "movie critics", George Kennedy's affinity for disasters, Danny Glover's soft voice, Sybian adventures, NASA probes Uranus, scalping specials from the Silverdome, Joel talks Heels, sex-drugs and Atari, life after death, Nickelback of the 80s saves 29 Palms, The Pauly & Corey show, ABC stumbles into a ratings juggernaut, a horrible graduation party, Joel serves Bob Weir, strengthen your pecs with a Thighmaster, Bono's sunglasses, promo codes for William Murray Golf, Joel escorts Nikki Sixx's girlfriend, Cusack's missing credit card, the life of a cheesy mascot, eight is not enough, a supernatural high school, tales of a crazy summer in Nantucket, and who skipped the Oscars for a basketball game?! All this week and more, on this week's Dueling Decades!      Do you agree with Joel's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! This week Duelers, we relish in the misfortunes of others with a wild and woolly worst of battle. With Mancrush soaking up the sun in South Beach we asked a longtime friend of the show Brent Hand of the Hysteria 51 podcast to step up and tackle the worst of February 1993. The Professor, Drew Zakmin is back with a vengeance and the absolute worst of February 1975! Finally, Marc James competes with the worst offerings from February 1982. A fan favorite, Mike Ranger returns behind the bench to judge these shoddy selections.  Brent brings the sadness with 1993 and a year that just kept giving grief in many forms. We hear about the debut album from Tara Patrick and not the one you are thinking of. Drew Zakmin tries to take down a dinosaur with a zip gun and Marc James’s blood runs cold because his memory has just been sold! Brent breaks out a magazine staple of the 1980s and we hear about the origins of the Mirth Mobile! Cartoon animals invade DC Comics and just who exactly is the Chili Bowl Mullet Man anyway? The cast comes to an agreement that there are too many cop and hospital shows and Drew brings one of the worst. We cover a not so classic episode of M*A*S*H. Brent checks in to see what's happening in Waco while 3 hours away an unwelcome rocker finds a unique place to piss. The ground shakes in China and We hear about a series of unfortunate events on the set of The Crow you may not already know about! Find out what “worst of” movie is the debut film of a gerbil-loving Hollywood A-Lister. Then we hear about a pair of London tragedies only fitting of this episode.  Do you agree with Mike's rulings? We had so much fun the last time they were on the show we could not wait for the return of Adam Sweeney and Scott Barber the duo behind the fantastic documentary film "The Orange Years: The Nickelodeon Story". This time around we turned off the kid-stuff and threw them a curveball for some fun, as we investigate the idiots of dumb crime and capers! Mancrush swings into the 70s with 1974 and a slew of “hot” picks. Marc James is on a mission from God and hopes all the dumb criminals of 1980 can help him steal this one. Trevor Gumbal returns to the show with 1998 and some half-baked criminals caught in the act.  It’s always fun to have returning guest judges on the show and as of late we have had some triumphant returns and Adam Sweeney and Scott Barber are no exception. Even though they are veteran judges Adam and Scott have their work cut out for them because the cast this week dug up some of the most crooked crooks committing some of the craziest crimes you will ever hear about. The judges are not the only returns to the show this week as a James Caan classic comes back but this time on the big screen. Find out the best places to steal music in 1998 and was it Buttercup or Butternuts anyway? Bagpipes blared as the police are Breaking The Law and everything else in a hotel room apparently. Thieves steal some sacrificial knives and 28 cents worth of brass. A famous singer gets caught with his pants down trying to Wham someone and a London heist gets caught on camera. Did a policeman have a sixth sense or was he just a racist? As well as their movie, Scott Barber wants everyone to check out the music of Westley Willis! We hear the story of an AWOL Huey Helicopter and you won’t believe what Jerry Springer wrote a check for in 1974!  Do you agree with Scott and Adam's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! Then go find a copy of The Orange Years! Please don't forget to subscribe and review! With Marc turning 43 this week, we're ready for a retro birthday extravaganza! So for a birthday bash, we needed someone who knows the crew really well. A man that takes no prisoners, believes there's no easy way out, the angel of the city himself, Robert Tepper! This cast favorite is back for his third appearance behind the bench, and as usual, he proves that he's "Better Than the Rest" when it comes to judging. Tepper swings the gavel harder than most, and even proclaimed "I love this show! Who else talks about this sh%t?! It's unbelievable!" Well, here to deliver more copious amounts of excrement, Mike Ranger brings the very best from his 13th birthday in, 1995! Mike Ranger is followed up this week by a man on a wicked losing streak, Mancrush travels back to his 6th birthday in 1984 looking to strike pay dirt. Rounding out the competition, it's the birthday boy himself, Marc James with his actual birthdate in 1978! Happy birthday Marc! Once again, Robert Tepper doesn't disappoint behind the bench. The guys have never actually met Robert, but it sounds like they've known him forever! In this episode, you may hear something about Marc wishing he was born in Iowa, Bakula sparkles on WPIX, Mancrush spends a weekend with Diane Lane, Tepper loses his mind at a Phish show, Chris Isaak gets overpaid, a band that doesn't pander to fans, Dr. Ben Casey falls through the stage, Mancrush's plea to Major League Baseball, a man gets unexpectantly blown in his car, nerds with lots of money, an unconventional convention, Mike Ranger makes a call to his past resignations, simple lives aren't simple, tennis with Dave Grohl, the Ranger family goes to the drive-in, bypass patch cords for everyone, DLR asks for a bump, Zeke and Jerry turn to crime for the American dream, and why the hell are we headed to Lancaster Pennsylvania?! Do you agree with Tepper's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! Welcome to another episode of your favorite adult, retro gameshow! We're happy to welcome back one of our favorite judges, the same man who created our sweet theme music, Wax! Wax brought his unique insight to the bench and a potential movie idea that we began to flesh out pre-recording. Unfortunately, we weren't recording at the time, wuh waah. Anyways, Wax has been here a few times, he knows the lay of the land, and he's up on his pop culture. So let's get this thing started! The first contestant this week, our friend from the Great White North, Joe Findlay brings his best from the final week of January 1992 along with him. Next up, Mancrush is looking to get back into the win column after several straight losses. To do so, he brought the finest late-January 1985 had to offer. And keeping the rear in check, Marc James goes way back to 1976 to complete this trio of retro awesomeness. We love having veteran judges back on the show. The show may have changed slightly since the last time Wax was on in February 2020, but the premise is the same. Unfortunately, no rap battles this time, but you still may hear about: the reason Wax has two toothbrushes, the American Music Awards becomes an unsung hero, a real-life Mentos commercial in Arizona, Kersey may ride the subway, Blisters down under, Wax's surprising vocal inspiration, the seduction of Tom Skerritt, Ben Vereen dazzles his way to 41 IMDb reviews, politicians are straight shooters, Winter Magic gets hit over the head with a sock full of balls, the law offices of DeFazio-Feeney & Squiggman, unattainable vehicles, two guys go for broke, no one knows who Raphael is, Ozploitation is apparently a thing, a big 10-4 for pig pen, the Hobgoblin doesn't deliver in the clutch, snacks with Wax, back alley Lunchables, tough mall cops, and guess who's coming FOREVER?! Do you agree with Wax's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! Since most people can't go to the bar, we decided to bring the bar to you! Do you have an abundance of leftover holiday spirits? Grab a cold one, relax, and join us for this retro booze battle! To judge an episode on booze, we couldn't rely on just anyone to swing the gavel. We needed someone who could really handle their liquor! That man, Bum Wine Bob! The host of "Bumming with Bobcat" showed up with a quarter, two Colt 45s, and a great attitude! The first contestant of the week, drinking a glass of water, Drew Zakmin brings the best Booze of 1991. Representing the best booze of 1981, Marc James also brought a whiskey sipper with him. And rounding out the competition, Mancrush goes way back, and delivers the booze of 1971! Oddly enough, the guys have known Bum Wine Bob for years! So everyone was pretty jazzed about finally getting to record together. In this episode, you might actually find out what people are drinking tonight, Laurel and Hardy push the highest quality cheap beer, Zakmin assumes a spy's adolescent nephew drinks a lot, afterschool special fun with Mom, a Bocephus sticker on the rear of your 442, RCA makes a grave mistake, being sick soft gooey and cold, the man with the most onscreen kills, a dude who likes vodka, Drew and a Russian bear run a train with lots of Vodka, Mancrush drinks in the parking lot of Staples, Plenty O'Toole gets thrown out a window, a suit saves United Artists from financial ruin, Jewish wine becomes a college staple, Florida's green sports beer from Pennsylvania, odd breweries, Miller Lite gets major competition, Bobcat tells a tale, a terrible whiskey idea, a group who should never drink, the best "budget booze" with Bobcat, and what four-letter word immediately makes booze better? Do you agree with Bob's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! It's time for another episode of everyone's favorite retro game show, Dueling Decades! It might be 2021, but we're determined to take you back in time with the best of January 1979, 1987, and 1996! In order to do that, we need a judge that can really handle the gavel. Not just any judge, but a real savvy retro savant, it's the man we like to call, Mike Ranger! That being said, let's take a look at this week's competitors. First up, hailing from the great white north, Joe Findlay brings the best of January 1979. Our next competitor took time away from listening to 45 hours of a Grateful Dead song, Marc James is back with his own generous helping of January 1987. Rounding out this time machine trio, Mancrush looks to get back into the win column with his offerings from January 1996! Mike Ranger might be friends with these gents, but he's not about to take any lip! This highly contested race might ruffle some feathers. In this episode, you might hear about Betty Rubble's dangerous curves, blood-sucking dates, a miniature horse named Ginger, cross country bank robbers, assault with a deadly Dick, sliding on the hood of your car, Franklin's excessively long wait, places to store your Zack Morris phone, Joe knows Tony Dorsit, Mike and Mancrush serenade, rap metal's humble beginning, Motorola changes the game, an album Mancrush hid from his mom, getcha rocks off with Joe, and who the hell is Texas Walker Ranger? Do you agree with Mike's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! Yes, I assure you, we're back! Fans will know this week's judge best from his role as the Chewlies Gum rep in the Kevin Smith classic, Clerks. Scott Schiaffo took some time away from getting angry crowds of customers throwing cigarettes and calling clerks around the country "cancer merchants" to swing the gavel for us this week! Not to worry, there was plenty to throw this week! First up, Drew "The Professor" Zakmin is back, and he's got the best "weak" experience of January 1999 he could find. Mancrush drew the year he never seems to have any luck with, January 1988. Will his week be strong enough to get him a win this time? Rounding out the trifecta of nostalgia this week, Marc James jams all the way back to the first week of January 1977!  Scott was a super awesome funny dude, and his stories were amazing! If you dig what they talked about in this episode with Scott, go grab a copy of his new book Vicious Dogs Attack Me In Sleepless Nights Of Summer! In this episode, you might hear about how Scott almost got arrested before auditioning for Clerks, sodium enriched lunches for the kids, a weird incestual comic book tale, January always draws the short straw for pop culture, a legitimate bootleg gaming system, drunk dialing 976 numbers, Schwarzenegger news, Drew can't stop talking about Monica Lewinsky, the Pinwheel theme almost resurfaces, Hogan goes down on Nash, Lynda Carter says hello in the green room, a band full of retreads, Nixon's testicles make an appearance, Affleck eats animal crackers, hitchhiking is never a good idea, turns out hydrogen bombs are useless in space, tours galore, Keith Richards possibly saved the world, 1993 was a great year for pickle in a pouch, convention life, The Black Crowes, and what does a straight jacket have to do with an audition?  Do you agree with Scott's rulings? We're going to make this episode, a Blockbuster night! You may not live close to the last Blockbuster in Bend, Oregon, but we'll do our best to emulate a Friday night walking up and down the aisles looking for the perfect movie. To do that, we have the director of The Last Blockbuster, Taylor Morden as our guest judge this week! If you haven't seen the documentary yet, it's a total walk down memory lane, and we highly recommend it. To deliver nostalgia to the max, we're also going to cover B-Movies again! Which year had the best B-Movies in your option? Let's look at our competitors. First up, our resident tape head, Mike Ranger is back with the best B-Movies 1995 had to offer. Marc James is smack dab in the middle of this one, with the B-Movie stronghold of 1990. And rounding out this battle of the decades, Mancrush comes with the early days of rental lore with B-Movies of 1985! Again, if you spent your days in the aisles of a rental store, you need to go out and watch The Last Blockbuster. Regardless if you liked Blockbuster or not, this documentary will take you back to the good ol' days. In this episode, you might hear about Chuck Norris putting Mike Ranger to sleep, gooey white stuff that tastes delicious, never ask Lloyd Kaufman to introduce himself, exploited Goblins, rated "S" movies, Roger Corman can make 47 movies with a hundred grand, our last B-movie judge moves cross country, adult movies spur children's cartoons, secret B-movie headquarters under a mall in Jersey, magazines for cinephiles, the very first straight to video gem, thirteen dollar tomatoes, The Last Blockbuster in Bend Oregon, rental night nostalgia, our relationship with movie consumption, Mancrush serenades, Marc James bends the rules, 35-year-old high school seniors, magnificent bastards, how Taylor scored a Kevin Smith interview, Jamie Kennedy and Samm Levine make appearances, and is there room for a rental store resurgence? Do you agree with Taylor's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! Hack the planet! This week, we have the King of Nynex, the Phantom Phreak himself, Renoly Santiago behind the gavel to judge this "worst of" episode of Dueling Decades! Aside from Hackers, you'll know Renoly from such classics as Con Air, Dangerous Minds, and Daylight. After a last-minute call out, Trevor saves the day by joining us as our first contestant in this retro skirmish. For this one, Trevor came packing some heat with the worst of December 1989! Apparently, Mancrush traveled back to a year where he really enjoyed going to bars. In spite of that, he brought back a six-pack of Zima and the worst of December 1997 with him! Rounding out the competition this week, Marc James did his research from an abandoned farmhouse in Walnut Grove, Minnesota to bring us the worst of December 1975! If you're a fan of Hackers, head on over to Renoly's website www.phantomphreak.com and pick up some sweet Hackers merch! Mancrush apologizes in advance if he grabbed the very last King of Nynex shirt! Anyhow, go grab your own partial "garbage file", and listen to this episode which may contain something about Marc's hard little stones, a useless rubber body accessory, toys that keep you up at night, a White House spelling bee, choking your boss at work, lightning crashes, shacking up at the polo club, Renoly and the Culkins, City Kids, John Hughes lost his way, waking up Mancrush's wife, Trevor hates harpoons that flow, Uncle Steve's a stalker, Danza gets whacked, Bruce Willis is allegedly a generous man, Lorelei is no Mandy, behind the scenes with Renoly, Kirk Cameron in a movie no one wanted to see, an American ripoff of a British classic is canned, the Ingalls sling drugs for cash, and Renoly performs a live hypnotism! Do you agree with Renoly's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! We've been jonesing for months to do another wrestling episode, but we just couldn't get the stars to align with our guests. Well, the wait is over! Time to throw it back to some of our favorite squared circle moments from the decades we love the most, the 80s and 90s of course! For this, we needed to get someone with keen wrestling prowess who could adjudicate this royal rumble of sorts. So this week, we present the Larry King of wrestling, the 4x Emmy award-winning, Chris Van Vliet! Beau Becraft was super excited to join us this week and compete with Wrestling of 1999. Sadly, Beau fell ill just before our recording. Being the gent that he is, Mike Ranger stepped in last minute, armed with Beau's research, he was committed to bringing this one home for his former tag team partner, Beau Becraft! Marc James decided he too was going to cover the 1990s and selected the pro wrestling gems of 1992. Rounding out this triple threat match, Mancrush dials up his boyhood memories with wrestling of 1984. Chris Van Vliet is put to the test this week, and he had some seriously difficult decisions to make! In this episode you might hear something about the best ending to a brass knuckle fight, the worst PPV Mancrush has ever seen, WWF's killer counter-programming, the worst lyrics of all time, a devastating moment in wrestling, the birth of wrestling entertainment, stylin' and profilin', awkward happy endings, Luc Deveraux believes in the ice bath, Mother Mancrush's secret weapon, MTV's most-watched show of 1984, what to expect in wrestling post-Covid, a message for the sweat hogs, the ires of being an assman, Mike Ranger's adoration for pro wrestling, the moves that really move em, video games to make your thumbs bleed, made up championships, the longest fictitious title reign in history, the bridging German suplex is wildly ineffective, pro wrestlers Chris Van Vliet has coming up, and a big ol' get well soon to Beau Becraft! Do you agree with Chris's rulings? Play at home and judge for yourself! While you're at it, send your rulings to our Facebook and pick up 20 points on the Dueling Decades Leaderboard! Our buddy David Schultz is back this week to adjudicate this retro battle of the ages! Better yet, we should go by his new moniker The Honorable Dr. David Schultz, my apologies! This week "The Professor" Drew Zakmin is back, and he gets all nostalgic about his selections from December of 1990. Next up, Marc James is smack dab in the middle of this retro assault with the very best of December 1982 he could whip up. Looking to get back in the win column after a few down weeks, Mancrush hopes to come out victorious with his birth year, bringing the best of December 1978! The Honorable Dr. David Schultz hasn't been on in a few months, but the fellas pick right back up where they left off with him over the summer. Hopefully, no one brought any wrestling, we all know how Dr. Schultz feels about the squared circle! There may be no wrestling, but you might expect to hear something about laser phalluses, history on fire, the end of a show Chris Barron never heard of, a mad scientist kills a dentist, The Dating Game needs background checks, a product so hot it killed an industry, Drew looks for pixelated female body parts, shareware, things that make you go hmm, Marc blowed em up, questions about your dad's occupation, Meskimen was wrong, Brando cashes in, Henson frightens Dr. Schultz, waking up in room 1515, coke battles with DLR, Dave likes pictures of Dio, and do you know James Shelton?!
