This poem is something between the living and the gone. People go away, die but the ones who are left behind are the ones who suffer for a lifetime. So this poem is from the living, the sufferer to the one whose gone away forever.
We all have too much inside of us. For some it’s too much of love or hate. But for some it’s too much of everything. And to be okay with it takes a lot of work. To be okay with yourself
We are all afraid of something or someone in our life. Either to lose them or confide in them. But afraid nonetheless
This poem is dedicated to my Nani, my mothers mother. It’s her birthday. She would’ve been 83 years old today. She passed away when I was little. I remember her very vaguely but I wish I could remember as vividly as I want to.
It’s a poem about love. How it can make us feel so many things yet we all know that love is the purest form of everything.
We do bad or good things and we simply blame it on love. Making everything. Easier rather than owning up to our actions. Because as the saying goes everything is fair in love and war. So we choose love to take the blame for our undoings.
Life is something that is complicated and something that’s also a gift. But it’s never easy.
I hope this year brings everything you wish for. And accompanying this greeting of mine is a poem that I wrote when I missed something or rather someone from my past.
The one thing every ending relationship needs. The one thing every person needs to move on. Closure. One final closure.
It’s about healing your heart. It’s about taking control of your life and being gentle with your self.
Hope- a word which gives us the strength to look out for a better tomorrow. A word which brings a calm to the worry we keep in our bodies, in our hearts.
