No mathematics this episode but a fun filled one just the same as we prepare to endure a major heat wave and bid a possible farewell to The O'Jays. New music from Ciara and Melba Moore
This week it's all about years with squares and cubes as multiples plus new music from Usher, Fridayy, and Sentury, all after a brief acknowledgement of a viral moment in Montgomery, AL.
Continuing the theme of mathematics in years as the school year draws closer. This time, save for a few 2023 breaks, it's years that are barely composite, multipliable only by 1, itself, and 2 other prime numbers.
As the host turns 37, we explore other prime numbers through recent years that are such: 1973, 1979, 1987, 1993, 1997, 1999, 2003, 2011, 2017, plus a few songs from today. It's a special mathematic episode of Easy Rhythms.
Starts with a brief tribute to Tony Bennett, a couple of double shots, and a random memory of a scene from Family Matters. New music from Coco Jones, Layton Greene, Maeta and Leela James.
A (sort of) Seattle tune in the name of baseball, a surprise remake, new music from Ronnie Bell, an anniversary that's no longe there, and a mashup between two unlikely collaborators.
A very special guest has arrived in Kansas City and we're ready with plenty about her without actually playing her, inlcuding a whole set in reference to a song off a newly released re-recording, and we accidentally give Babyface some extra attetnion too.
As we enter the second half of 2023 and celebrate our nation's 247th birthday we feature plenty of "halves", "parts", and number 4's in soul music history.
Breaukups, road closures, and a few mic adjustments as we close out the first half of 2023. New music from Josh X, Abraham Alexander, and Ty Dolla Sign
First live episode under new hardware and after days of toiling with levels. A couple of nods to fathers and two new collaborations as well.
As One KC Radio upgrades its facilities, Easy Rhythms commemorates Pride weekend in the city by keeping your music moving easy.

Back with a live and local presentation playing a few leftover 3 and 8 year end songs plus an unintentional theme of being "the only one" and a small tribute to the late Tina Turner.
Our 2nd Annual Easy Rhythms Graduation March is here, saluting the classes of years ending in 3 and 8 before us before our tribute to the class of 2023. Congrats to all 2023 graduates.
New music from Alicia Keys, Alvin Garrett, Janelle Monae, Macy Gray, and The Shindellas. It's the calm before a graduation storm as we commit quite the faux pas late in the show. Oops. Your music's still moving easy though.
Mothers' Day weekend is upon KC and we're dedicating parts of this show to those that played that role in our lives. New music from SZA, Miguel, and Steve Lacy.

Kings, Charlies, and a tale of odd and played out chord progressions. We explore it all on this first week of May. New music from Daniel Caesar (with Summer Walker).
Back after a week hiatus we honor two fallen legends in their own arenas, thumb the nose at Confederate History Month and feature some other cool songs found along the way to Tampa Bay. New music from Tyla and After 7 (with Stokley).
One more largely themeless live show before a major road trip. New music from Levelle, Christian Keyes, and Tamar Braxton. We address tax season with Marvin Gaye as well.
It starts with a hat tip to the TN three, continues with an Easter tradition, and ends with the celebration of the winning regions and runner ups of the NCAA tournament, men and women.
Starting an hour later after swapping time slots temporarily with another show, and trying to make listeners believe this show was going away, we even attempt a "format change" after the 2nd set. All in celebration of April Fools Day. New music by PJ Morton, tyree Neal, Jeter Jones, and Willie Clayton.
