College is new territory, and so much is unknown.College is one of those things that everyone has talked about for years, and then it comes and everything hits you at once. The idea of needing to know everything, having to do everything, and be the person you want to become without even knowing who you are in the present. With this in mind, what comes now from Teen-y Pod is Unsure, a series about the unknowns and "I don’t knows” all within the context of College. Hosted by Syd Walter, a current college student and producer of Teen-y , Unsure will be a collage of storytelling, interviews, and pieces of connection for listeners.
"The effects of COVID on this generation (teenagers) have been so hard."Zoe's right. Yet, we don't talk about it. The world hasn't acknowledged us, hasn't allowed space for our stories, and so today we set the stage for 3 teens to tell their stories, unapologetically. The moments of joy, alongside our struggles. In the second episode of our two-part series, we explore the journey of the pandemic world, through the eyes of Mia Dabney, Zoe McDaniel, and Syd Walter. Every story of the last 365 days is different, and the three of us don't speak for all teens. Yet, despite how different our stories may be, we all are humans who felt the weight of this time. And so that can bond us together. To learn more about Teen-y pod and to "meet" the storytellers behind this episode, check out our Instagram @teeny_pod

Raffela is a mental health advocate, a diet culture disruptor, and an overall badass, opening up conversations about who the body-positive space is for. In this episode, we discussed the post that made her go viral, and we get down to the root of where body positivity started, and why it started. Raffela is a university student studying psychology and is putting in the work of 'building a bigger table' (as Raffela would say) for more voices in the body-positive space and in the mental health space.
