A very long awaited episode, where Rick and Steve collaborated with Marcel Gomez from the notorious Fire and Beer Podcast! The guys got together in the beginning of the year (2021) at a local hot spot in New Jersey, Hackensack Brewing Company. They talked, laughed and discussed a lot of beer from their favorite styles and to favorite breweries. They touched on the rating systems and apps in the beer community and even touched on the origins and goals of Fire and Beer Podcast, with much, much more! In this amazing interview with Co-Owner and Co-Founder [of Hackensack Brewing Company], Mike Jones , Rick and Steve get to talk all things beer from the bright and shining, bootstrapping North Jersey brewery. With plenty of good laughs and great conversation, Mike and the guys delve into the start of this 12-tap taproom and brewery, the adaptations of what it took during COVID-19 and good old fashion friendly banter on what it takes to not only brew beer but where some of the delicious beer originated. One of the most in depth interviews yet and easily the most personal with the New Jersey homeboys.
Another trip, another brewery! This time Rick and Steve are back in PA at The McCall Collective in Allentown PA. They sit down with head brewer Matt McCall, Co-founder and Owner, Kaitlin McCall and Chief Marketing Director Craig Philips and learn the origins behind the creation of McCall, potential collaborations with local breweries (cough, Bonn Brewing, cough) and learn about the source of products made into the beers at this new Allentown spot.

Rick and Steve talk all about the "sour beer making machine" in RAR Brewing (Cambridge, MD) and talk about a highly anticipated 5 way collaboration with Other Half , Modist, Homes, Weldworks, and Shared Brewing Companies. The guys also talk a little about the upcoming DC area, with some must see spots, the old beer festival scene, and lastly the sour hype with some ABV controversies.
The guys are back at it again, continuing their tri-state beer tour with an epic stop in Middletown, NY to meet with Michelle DeLuca, Brand Director, and Pete Oates, Co-Owner, Co-Founder and Pit Master, from Equilibrium Brewery. They dive right into the conversation about how this unique partnership (of Michelle and Pete) formed, the origins of EQ and what the future holds for this fantastic brewery. Although the audio is slightly off, this interview may be the most engaging yet! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
