Week 20 & the Regular Season is done. The Commish is back a day late from his All Out in Chicago trip. Time to break down all of the For the Fame action and news around the MLB. Devin & the Commish are back to have a discussion not only about the Power Rankings in Week 15 but also about the looming trade deadline in Major League Baseball. This certainly will be a can't-miss conversation about what the bottom-feeding teams need going into 2023 to finish a successful rebuild or what each contender needs to separate themselves to win a 2022 JGL Championship. A lot has changed since we last did this and it is so good to be back. Quickly approaching the end of the season and things are heating up...
Week 14 is over and so is the 1st half of the season. Both the Grant Balfour & Otterpops gets even tighter as we get ready for the All Star Game at Howard’s tomorrow! Can’t wait for the beers and the hangs. Juan Soto might be traded. Andruw Jones and Matt Holliday’s kids are drafted. Feel old yet? Lots of For the Fame chatter paired with a good recap of the full week in baseball! What is Chris Sale doing on 165th street in the Bronx?!? Are the Rays the most injured team of all time? Who knows? Week 13 is complete and we embark on our journey toward the 2nd half of the season. Bazata pulled off another trade to bolster his playoff run despite the loss of acquiring McKenzie/Verlander from Nick who decided to join the Seller's Club. Nick got a great piece to build around in Kyle Wright. Perrier continues to hang out to the Grant Balfour division while the Otterpops division remains just as tight. The 6 teams that are contenders are almost guaranteed to make the playoffs but it's going to be challenging to predict who will hold on to the playoff first-round byes. The All-Star Game is headed to Howard's Cafe next Tuesday (7/19) and the league braces itself for another fantastic night of baseball and beers. The Orioles are on fire and so is For the Fame. Week 12 is finished and we continue to power towards the All-Star break. The best teams continue to add wins to their totals while the bottom teams look towards 2023. Nick has a heartbreaking loss on the heels of wanting to hold out and not rebuild. Karen plays spoiler and upsets Alicia while Perrier topples Devin in potentially a championship preview. Week 11 is in the books and we didn't have as many close finishes as usual. The cream of the crop continues to separate themselves big time from those rebuidling. The Commish is solo dolo this week and is back on a Sunday after the Forbidden Door & RX Bandits in NYC held him away from his Commishly duties. Vinnie Pasquantino gets the call to big club in KC, Alicia leaves her roster unattended with Wander on IL and Bryce clearly hurt, Devin & Perrier brace for a hugeeeee division lead deciding match up. Devin & the Commish are back to have a much needed discussion of the anticipated power rankings after 10 weeks are completed & a weekend of crazy trades. This will be certainly be a can’t miss conversation about why the Commish decided to sell and how he feels going into the rest of the season. Week 7 is finished and we saw some photo finishes made in For the Fame. The Commish is solo this week on Memorial Day! Devin loses his 2nd straight & Karen falls to 1-6.
