In this episode, I have a conversation with Jennifer Avancena of Calajo Catering about our home grown relationship with food. In my search to find music for the Uprooted Igorots podcast, Auntie Annielyn Pagtuyao Pucking teaches me the history behind 10 Cordilleran Folk instruments.  East West Farm: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100010568955525 Check out uprootedigorots.com to find more resources regarding Igorot Folk music and folk instruments.  Follow this podcast on Facebook and Instagram! In this episode, I ask my dad about his experience knowing how to speak multiple languages. Unsurprisingly, moving to the States made it difficult to continue communicating in his native tongue. What I didn’t expect, was that he had gradually spoken less Ibaloi and Kankanaey before he moved away from the Cordillera. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/uprooted-igorots/support
