This week we have another amazing math teacher, Andi Rojas, at home in the Blades' FAMILY Reunion.  Andi has been back home at EB for a few years, after spending some time as a middle school teacher here in East Bakersfield.  We are glad to have her back home and I hope you enjoy her story.Remember, the FAMILY Reunion is my labor of love, but I hope the stories of our staff members who are still giving back to the blade FAMILY inspires you to give as well.  Take care and be well.
This week we have our current Assistant Principal of Instruction, Mrs. Sydney Peterson (nee Howard) joining us on the Blades FAMILY Reunion.  Sydney graduated with the class of 2000 and is in her second year back home at EBHS.  Sydney's journey back is another unique tale of a Blade being resilient and she shares it with us.  Remember, the FAMILY Reunion is my labor of love, but I hope the stories of our staff members who are still giving back to the blade FAMILY inspires you to give as well.  Take care and be well.
This week I was able to get officer Calvillo on the phone for our FAMILY Reunion podcast.  Officer Calvillo is a graduate of the class of 1998 and he shares his pathway back to EBHS.  For any student who is considering going into law enforcement, this episode is a must listen.  Officer Calvillo continues a long line of the EBHS officer being a graduate of the school.Remember, the FAMILY Reunion is my labor of love, but I hope the stories of our staff members who are still giving back to the blade FAMILY inspires you to give as well.  Take care and be well.

This week I caught up with Art Gonzalez.  Art is our Head of Guidance and graduated from EB in 1988.  Art inspires kids, colleagues, and parents daily and loves the Blades FAMILY.  Again, we couldn't do what we do without him.  Please enjoy catching up with Art.
This week I catch up with Ken Chapman.  Ken is a part of a multigenerational EBHS family and he graduated in '85.  Ken is a longtime coach and staff member at EBHS and was a coach on the fabled championship team of '04.  Enjoy catching up with Ken.
This week I caught up with Brad Verrell.  Brad is a graduate of 1984 and is currently our wood and metal shop teacher at EBHS.  Brad is a proud Blade and a vital part of our FAMILY.  Enjoy catching up with Brad.
This week I spent some time finding out how coach Thorp will answer the Five Focus Questions.  In this interview, we find out just how far back Dave's relationship with EBHS goes, and how much he loves our school.
Anthony is a graduate of the class of 1978.  Anthony addresses the Five Focus Questions and talks about being a Blade.
