It is a new day in this ministry as we step into a progressive era in which we as a ministry will embrace the teachings of black liberation theology combined with the decolonization of our faith and the deconstruction of spiritual systems, thinking, and practices that haven't worked individually and collectively in communities of color. Far too long have we've taken on the image, model and practice of our oppressors in our houses of worship. Western christianity was never designed to work for us as people of color. The strategy of the oppressor was to give you a spiritual system to enslave your mind, and body, and to have you believe that if you practice this new spiritual system the God of that system would deliver you and it would one day pay off. It hasn't and it never will. The people that gave you that system made a Hell for you that they'll never be afraid of. However most of your experience in this system of christianity centers around you being afraid of going to hell, while forgetting that your oppressor has no fear of the Hell that he taught you to believe in with a slave bible. You need something that has to work for you, because this right here, this western system isn't working for us as a people.

There is a price to infidelity. Listen to this message and know the dangers, and ask yourself is the cost worth what it took years to build?

Part two of our marriage series focuses on what it means to make a wedding vow and fulfilling it. Too many times we prepare for the ceremony but not the life after the ceremony. The goal in marriage is to fulfill the vow of what you desired, which was marriage. Cultivate the relationship and the marriage will flourish.

In our new series we will begin to explore marriage, and what it means. Too many times we believe we can have a marriage without cultivating the relationship that got you to the marriage. In part one we talk about order and flow. There must be order in the relationship if you want a consistent flow of growth and peace.

The purpose of Jesus was prophetically spoken in the old testament. His purpose as your deliverer, savior, Lord, redeemer, and Christ was HiS purpose. His testimony was one of what HE would do and become. Jesus also testified about you and how HE came to save that which was lost. You are not as lost as you think you are. You will always belong to God.

Church hurt and faith trauma is so rampant in the church community that mental health professionals now offer recovery counseling to heal from it. This should have never been the case. Too many people have been hurt by men and the victims blame God. In this two part message Brother Leon breaks down the game of ministry. How people are taken advantage of due to desperation and a scarcity mindset. God wants you free from church abuse and HE wants you totally healed. Make up in your mind that you will be healed from church hurt.

In this two part message called Healing From Word Curses, we talk about the signs of verbal abuse, and the similarities between it, and witchcraft. Witchcraft and verbal abuse have two things in common, they need access and they use manipulation. The manipulation works as a point of contact into your life. By access the abuse begins to deplete your resources, emotional energies, physical well-being, self confidence, and influence. These attributes of you break down because they have gained access and at times we are unaware of the access. We find ourselves believing that if we would agree or obey what the abuser is saying we would be okay and free. You can't obey abuse, nor can you obey the spirit of witchcraft and think freedom will be yours. The web of entanglement will grow larger and stronger. Don't allow anyone to be a vampire feeding on your time, energy, resources, wellbeing, sexuality, finances, and purpose. When they are exposed cut them off and do not give them re-entry. God wants to heal the wounds of words curses and break the spirit of control that has bound you for so long. Verbal abuse, manipulation, vexing, and bewitching are forms of witchcraft. People use words to heal, to bind, to loose, to break, and to enslave. The words target your mind so your heart and body will manifest the words spoken and believed. It is time to heal from the curse words that were spoken over you today.

How do you get back up after a fall? This was the question that was asked during the message from our current series Healing School. Pastor Leon comes with a deep transparency of his own personal experience and how God brought him back. You can heal from relationship fallouts and the aftermath.

We have begun a new ministry called Church Of Release. This message will free you from being sex negative. It will expose how some ministers have used control mechanisms and fear tactics to disrupt your sex life. God has given us all things richly to enjoy, sex should be one of them. This message is very explicit. Listen with openness and celebrate difference.

The last sermon of 2022! Merry Christmas and let's heal and be whole for the new year. When we have moved on and matured from the past, the past at times doesn't want to let go. People knew you in weakness, but don't know how to handle or address you in newness and strength. Sometimes people and old stomping grounds call you by a name or nickname that doesn't define who you are now. It signifies who and what you were. God wants to heal you from those painful names associated with a painful past. Know that God has given you newness of life and a new name. You're not your past you grew from it.

We need at times to recognize, be delivered, heal, and made whole from performance driven relationships that were toxic and had us walking on figurative emotional eggshells and jumping through emotional hoops in hopes of gaining a person's love, respect, and acceptance. Some of us have gone through this in our childhood and it has formed certain negative habits and perspectives that need to change. Before Jesus did any work, God was pleased with him. God loves you and is pleased with you. God wants you to rest and stop driving yourself to prove you are worthy to love and be loved. Just be.

In life we make bad decisions and at times the hardest thing to do is to forgive ourselves for those decisions. The process of healing begins when we can forgive ourselves because God already has. No matter the trauma God can heal it. Too many times we believe that God can only heal and forgive sins that are non sexual. However God came to forgive and heal your sexual trauma, dysfunction, and even realign you to give and receive love and sex from your significant other. God can forgive you if had an abortion.God can forgive you if you caught a STI or incurable sexual virus. These things don't need to define who you are as a person or even your place in God. Sexual sin doesn't mean you lose your place in God. You will forever be a son or a daughter. Can you forgive yourself, because God already has. God can give you back your identity, dignity, and significance even after sexual trauma and sin. We need to receive his loving embrace so we won't forget that HE is our father and we are HIS kids.

What is the black person when they become a celebrity in white spaces?Kyrie Irving is in the news for not denouncing a controversial documentary on Amazon that has been deemed ant-Semitic by those who have given it such a label. The black celebrity is at times carries a burden of silence while walking on thin ice. While carrying the burden you mustn't step too hard or even question why you carry a burden and on thin ice? The controversy that has so much uproar is saturated in the origin and question of who are the original Israelites and Jews. For this search and sharing it on his social media platform Kyrie Irving is guilty of.Kyrie had apologized earlier when the event was fresh, however to the Jewish community it wasn't enough. Black and Jewish culture has similarities in history. Why is this man's livelihood in jeopardy for a documentary he didn't create, write or distribute. Our livelihood is on the line when we comment or have thoughts that challenge any community that isn't ours. We need to be vocal on the financial lynching that is happening before our eyes with Kyrie Irving. Remember Whoopi Goldberg and Nick Cannon.
