How much does Spotify actually pay per listen? What about other platforms? And how do artists make money (hint: most of it is not from their music) Learn more about making it in the industry that pays SO WEIRDLY.
Social media can be such a powerful tool for music producers and virtually anybody that makes music. Learn more about collaborating with teams to bring forward the best results.
Dealing with perfectionism is something that we all deal with. But women in an industry that is mainly occupied by men have it harder. Kiera goes over some of her own experience with the expectations she has set for herself as a musician.
How TF are you supposed to record, promote and release an entire album during a Pandemic as an up-and-coming artist? Listen to this short clip to find out what Kiera did.
Kiera is a super talented musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and composer. She's a vital part of our day to day life at Muzeamp, working not only as a Mentor for up-and-coming artists but also as a Swiss Knife when it comes to Social Media and engaging with the community.
Kiera Dillon is a super talented musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and composer. She's a vital part of our day to day life at Muzeamp, working not only as a Mentor for up-and-coming artists but also as a Swiss Knife when it comes to Social Media and engaging with the community. Her debut album Perspective received over 10,000 listens in a week, and her new single "Won't Make It Easy" sounds like it's straight out of a female James Bond movie. I included a part of it at the end of the podcast- you should listen to it) A figure for younger girls and a caring friend, Kiera joins me in a conversation about music, the struggles of making it to the top, and the complex process of creativity and collaboration. We dive into music streaming platforms and how modern-day artists ACTUALLY make money (hint: not from the number of plays or listens).
As the podcast matures from a tiny “Ancient Tadpole” egg into a little swimmer, we welcome the first episode of 2021 with Remy Hernandez. He’s a jack of all trades and hits in out of the park in all of them. Amongst many other occupations, he’s a music producer and mentor, an entrepreneur and a passionate representative of Latinx culture. Alongside myself and 3 other people, he’s a co-founder of the music startup Muzeamp.A master of newborn social media channel ClubHouse, he joins me on a wide (WIDE) array of topics, ranging from Social media, Marketing, basic human rights, Good music and Iconic artists and of course, Weed and the war on Mexicans.
One of my favorite and most awaited episodes, with Francisco Fischer. He is a very close friend, an hermano, a fellow copywriter and martial arts enthusiast, as well as an avid gamer(time permitting) and a great cat dad. Joining us live from Brooklyn, New York, Francisco goes over the golden moments of MMA, we talk 2021 predictions and address a subject that a lot of people tend to avoid: the toxic side of the advertising world. I am so grateful to share this awesome conversation with a person who shares many beliefs and life values with me and who never failed to give me a helping hand whenever I needed it. Thank you for being a great human and an even better friend. Peace!
On a very special episode (listen to the first minute to find why) I get to talk Margaret again. She's back for another episode where we dive in to where our businesses have gone, how our lives have changed in 2020, what goals we accomplished and what we expect from 2021. We also explored the new world of VR that we have encountered in this podcast. That's right, we bought the Oculus Quest 2 and wow.. what an experience. Listen to that above! We sprinkle a few anecdotes and stories here and there. Join us for a cozy winter talk from the comfort of our warm apartment situated in the unforgiving cold of Chicago. If you enjoy this podcast, please leave a like or subscribe to my channel. I am not doing this for any clout, but gaining a following base will help me reach a wider audience and hopefully get more important names for all of you guys. Stay safe, stay awesome, and more importantly, stay playing!

This was a clip from WTFTI episode 11. Cryonics truly are a fascinating field and require a lot of research and learning. I am not a scientist, but I like to debate the potential outcomes of technology like that. I play devil's advocate and explore questions that a lot of us might have about freezing human beings and bringing them back to life later on.
