It’s funny though because as we reflect back, we always remember the BIG changes in our lives! Those changes that in a moment shifted our lives in an entirely new direction. The birth of our first child, a divorce, a death, a new love, a move to another city or even country. These are the changes we remember but what about the little changes we made when we adjusted to life on almost on a daily or weekly basis? In many coaching programs, you create a 90-day or even a one-year plan. Oh, ladies, I love big picture plans. I love vision boards! Yes, it is so fun to close your eyes and imagine yourself as though you’ve achieved all your listed goals for the year!Yet, if you’re like me, most of the time those BIG goals aren’t accomplished because there are no little changes made to ever get to those big goals.
Are you wondering about working with others to "create magic" in your business or life?  Does the very idea make you nervous or excited? Do you still struggle with trying to get where you know you're supposed to be, but just not making it there? Many of us do and Sharri Harmel explains how a struggle with limiting beliefs (often rooted in our childhood experiences) can impact our success today.  No amount of hard work will allow us to move forward unless we uncover those pesky unconscious beliefs and deal with them in the here and now, re-building ourselves, and our worthiness to have a happy life.   Listen as Sharri offers up a recent example of her own unconscious beliefs and shares her roadmap to a better way past them.Resources and links in this episode: Extraordinary Women magazine is the “must-have” digital magazine for women looking for inspiration, tips, and support to create a fabulous business, or just the next chapter. Feeling feminine is so important throughout our lives; whether we are young women or women of a "certain age"... and whether we have a partner or not! Femininity is much more than the youthfulness that American women seek after; it is the essence of being female and it is vital to a life filled with joy.In today's episode, Sharri shares how the French culture celebrates femininity and how this attitude may be the very source of the "French mystique" so adored by many women, especially in the United States. She also explains how femininity is tied to our self-esteem, our self-confidence… and even our everyday mindset.Resources and links in this episode: Extraordinary Women magazine is the “must-have” digital magazine for women looking for inspiration, tips, and support to create a fabulous business, or just the next chapter. The pursuit of a passion can often take you in a very different direction than you would expect!  Sandra Sigman, the founder and CEO of Les Fleurs (a beautifully French inspired floral home and garden shop in Andover, Massachusetts) learned to appreciate the beauty around her at the elbow of her mother and her mother's work in floral design. She first travelled to France in her early twenties, as a professional ice skater for Holiday on Ice.  Loneliness brought her to the flower shops of Paris, and a dream was born: she came back to the U.S. with plans to open a floral shop of her own. Listen as Sandra and Sharri Harmel discuss their shared love of French culture, creating beauty from ashes, and how being brave in the adventure can lead to accomplishing great things!Resources and links in this episode:Visit Sandra Sigman at Les Fleurs, Lesfleurs.comThe Stevens-Coolidge House and GardensStudio Carta, founded by Angela LiguoriVivi et Margot, online French homewares founded by Charlotte Reiss Sharon Santoni, My French Country Home magazine Foire deChatou, antique & flea market For real estate, Aaron Lippert / aaronlippert@kw.com, https://www.larochegroupe.com | US: +1 617 821 6406 | FR: +33 (0)7 85 66 72 08Extraordinary Women magazine is the “must-have” digital magazine for women looking for inspiration, tips, and support to create a fabulous business, or just the next chapter. In today’s episode, Sharri discusses how sometimes we need to put that big “20 year dream” to the side and focus on figuring out how we want our lives to be on a day to day or a week to week basis … and plan no further out than one year! While asking herself practical and pointed questions (and even though it might be shocking for a coach to say it), Sharri demonstrates how you might get even more clarity on want you want to create in your life when you pull yourself into the present.Resources and links in this episode:Extraordinary Women magazine is the “must-have” digital magazine for women looking for inspiration, tips, and support to create a fabulous business, or just the next chapter. What business you start will many times come from what you are most passionate about.  Doni Belau, founder and CEO of Girls' Guide to Paris, started exactly that with her fabulous women's travel company that goes far beyond Paris.  In our conversation, Doni details her story and drive in building a company around what she loves, safe travel with and for women, and encourages all women to consider taking an entrepreneurial road like she did.  Doni also shares about an upcoming program that she's offering called Women's Travel Wisdom, with a retreat to a beautiful part of California for four days. This wellness retreat, however, is also a journey into learning more about ourselves as individuals, something that is so important to creating a joy-filled life.  Yes, eating right and exercising are important aspects of wellness, but self-discovery, mindfulness and empowerment are all key factors in the success of your business, too.  Listen as Doni Belau gives us insight into this different but necessary type of exploration.Resources and links in this episode:Girls’ Guide to Paris, https://girlsguidetoparis.com/Doni’s upcoming excursions, https://girlsguidetoparis.com/trips-for-women/Doni Belau on Instagram, @girlsguidetoparisDoni Belau on Facebook, @GirlsGuideToParisWomen’s Travel Wisdom, https://womenstravelwisdom.com/start-here/Carolyn Ray at Journeywoman, https://journeywoman.com/Lola Akinmade & Loung Ung (speakers at Women’s Travel Wisdom) Conscious Connection: Reframing Mental Health to Create a Thriving Life by Sarah Wayt (book) Red Tent by Anita Diamant (book) Eve Ensler, author of “Vagina Monologues” writes on women and power Tara Brach, meditation teacher, psychologist and author of several books including international bestselling Radical Acceptance, Radical Compassion and Trusting the Gold. Extraordinary Women magazine is the “must-have” digital magazine for women looking for inspiration, tips, and support to create a fabulous business, or just the next chapter.
