In this episode, we have Julie. In 2015, Julie took 14 pills of ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic with dangerous side effects that damaged her nervous system and took away her ability to walk. She spent 4 years in a wheelchair, uncertain of her future.   She was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS, also called ME) in Amsterdam. Doctors had no idea where it came from. She continued her search for a treatment and ended up in Belgium where they diagnosed her with chronic Lyme disease and started an antibiotic treatment with steroids. In 2018 Julie made the choice to stop her treatment and to let her body heal naturally, without chemicals. She came across Medical Medium and Dr Robert Morse and followed their protocols based on a detoxifying and regenerative plant-based diet. Her health improved. She has made big progress and no longer needs a wheelchair. Following a follow up Lyme consultation with a French naturopath, she finally had the answer she had been looking for: she discovered that she never had Lyme disease but fluoroquinolone poisoning from ciprofloxacin.FOLLOW JULIE MORIN ▶ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/julieshealing▶ Website - https://www.julieshealing.com/DOWNLOAD ENVOL APP▶ ENVOL - https://www.envol.appFOLLOW US ON SOCIAL▶ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/TheChronicComeback▶ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/thechroniccomebackSUBSCRIBE TO THE PODCAST▶ Apple Podcast - https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-chronic-comeback/id1533970626▶ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW_BGsN1LaeL4iudgSNUw7A▶ Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/71485tI9o4JPPkg1IpmDaX#ChronicFatiguesyndrome #LymeDisease #Fluoroquinolone
In this episode, we have Jennfier Mann. Jennifer is a mind-body practitioner and movement coach whose background includes ballet and a study of Pilates. When she was diagnosed with chronic fatigue, her life had to take a pause.  But shortly after she had come to terms with the hardships her illness gave her, she realized that rather than accepting that she would inevitably have to suffer for a while until she gets better, she decided to instead open her mind.  Chronic fatigue taught Jennifer that deep healing was possible through the most primitive and simple way of shifting illness and creating change: the mind-body connection. She used brain re-training to shift her thoughts and beliefs and doing so created a shift in her physiology. Today, her goal is to help people who feel stuck and become empowered on their healing journeyFOLLOW JENNIFER ON INSTAGRAM▶ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/jcamylee/FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL▶ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/TheChronicComeback▶ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/thechroniccomebackSUBSCRIBE TO THE PODCAST▶ Apple Podcast - https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-chronic-comeback/id1533970626▶ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW_BGsN1LaeL4iudgSNUw7A▶ Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/71485tI9o4JPPkg1IpmDaX#ChronicFatigue #ChronicFatigueSyndrome #CFS

Lindsay’s story of chronic illness began as a teen when she tested positive for Epstein-Barr virus. While studying to be a physician assistant in South America, She fell ill to various parasites that kept her fatigued with gut issues after returning to the U.S.During a trip to the Redwoods, a tick bite unleashed the “perfect storm” — a build up of biological and environmental toxins due to years of exposure. She tested positive for Lyme disease, multiple parasites, systemic candidiasis, and other co-infections.Her doctors told her to make herself comfortable—that her diagnoses were something she'd have to deal with for the rest of her life. But she rejected this.I began reading about the brain's ability to change—a concept referred to as neuroplasticity—and made the decision to begin brain retraining.Once she begin to master this process and learned how to calm the stress response, her symptoms didn’t just improve...they began to disappear and within 8 months, she was totally betterFast forward to 2018, Lindsay founded Vital-Side - a neuroplasticity based healing program that helps chronically ill or stressed people go from fight-flight-or freeze to rest-and-digestThis is a really exciting subject for me to talk aboutFOLLOW LINDSAY ON INSTAGRAM▶ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/myvitalsideFOLLOW US ON SOCIAL▶ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/TheChronicComeback▶ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/thechroniccomebackSUBSCRIBE TO THE PODCAST▶ Apple Podcast - https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-chronic-comeback/id1533970626▶ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW_BGsN1LaeL4iudgSNUw7A▶ Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/71485tI9o4JPPkg1IpmDaX
