We are moving forward into Genesis Chapter 21 and 22 discussing Ishmael and Isaac. We discuss how tradition is sometimes not what God wants for us.
Who are God's chosen people? Why are they chosen? Why did Abram leave his family and wander to a faraway city? Today I will introduce you to God's chosen people, the Jews.
God allowed Noah and his family to survive the flood that destroyed the earth. Noah was righteous, but even his best-laid plans led to sin and more damaged within the family unit.
Why is the story of Noah important to today? What was the purpose behind the flood? What would it take for you to pay attention to God?

Well into the 21st century there are still arguments between science and religion debating whether God created the universe and man or was there just a scientific boom that started it all. We as Christians believe God's word that he created the heavens and the earth. This lesson is a small window into that argument and why we believe the way we do.
Today we are starting from the beginning. We are going to discuss why the Old Testament is important and why studying it is important.
This episode explains to us why we as Christians must wait on God. We may have the best of intentions but we in ourselves are unable to see what God has planned for us, but if we turn to him, he will lead us and guide us into his will.
