In this episode, I discuss how we have unconscious biases in how we want people to dress and wear their hair in certain settings and how that needs to change as well as try to explain the inadvertent racism within these "rules".  Then I get into a discussion about the Liberal's Mandatory Paid Sick Leave Bill being struck down and how it actually was not the answer we needed.  I then explain how Universal Basic Income is the answer we are looking for.  At the end, I play the promo Joe and I recorded for our Out of Boundz Podcast Live Recording happening on the OOB YouTube Page this Thursday, April 29th @ 8:30 PM EST.Make sure to check me out on the Charity Stripe Commentary & Out of Boundz Podcasts. We can get through this, but we have to do it together.Out of Boundz Podcast YouTube PageOut of Boundz Podcast & Charity Stripe CommentaryHire BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour)
In this episode, I sit down with Joe McDonnell, my co-host on the Out of Boundz Podcast, to discuss Voting Right within the US now that Georgia has passed Voter Suppression Laws.  First, they start with a discussion of the Space Jam 2 Trailer and whether they are excited for that movie or not.  Then they end with a discussion about the Pop-Punk genre and the bands they have on each of their Mount Rushmore's.  There are some bands you have heard of (Blink-182, Green Day, etc.) plus a Canadian band you may not have heard of (The Pettit Project aka Love You To Death).Make sure to check me out on the Charity Stripe Commentary & Out of Boundz Podcasts. We can get through this, but we have to do it together.
In this episode, I discuss the disgusting trend of racism from white people recently as well as the terrible excuses they are trying to use.  I then discuss how 2021 has been tough and that we should all be reaching out to those in our lives as well as the ones that have become estranged.  Then I finish with some thoughts on the NCAA pushing ahead with the tournament and the fact that the players should be compensated as they are the reason the tournament has gotten as big as it has.Make sure to check me out on the Charity Stripe Commentary & Out of Boundz Podcasts. We can get through this, but we have to do it together.
It's International Women's Day!In this episode, I discuss the disgusting human being that is "Pastor" Stewart-Allen Clark and how women should not stand for men like this.  I lament on the fact that we need more women in power and change is the only constant.  We need to accept change if we are to progress as a society and human race.  Then I play a clip from the  Charity Stripe Commentary where Marcus, Trey and I discuss the evolution of Social Media Influencers.Make sure to check me out on the Charity Stripe Commentary & Out of Boundz Podcasts. We can get through this, but we have to do it together.
In this episode, I discuss how Facebook controls who sees your content and how they block anything they deem negative regardless of context or nuance.  Then I discuss how Doug Ford is trying to get alcohol into the 7-11, but not to take home; you have to consume at the store.  Finally, I want Texas and surrounding areas affected by the blackouts to stay safe and remember the leaders like Ted Cruz and similar GOP Representatives that have shown they do not care about their constituents as well as spreading false narratives about the cause of the blackouts.Make sure to check me out on the Charity Stripe Commentary & Out of Boundz Podcasts. We can get through this, but we have to do it together.
In this episode, I talk with Trey Hill, from the Charity Stripe Commentary & Out of Boundz Podcasts, to discuss the current topic dominating the news, GameStop stock, as well as investing and the market as a whole.  Since I have a Financial Industry background, Trey wanted me to explain things to him.  There are differences between the Canadian and American Financial Industries, but there are common practices that retail investors can use to ensure they are being safe in the market while attempting to navigate a system dominated by Wall Street and Bay Street.  I want to use these episodes to pass along the knowledge I have accumulated over my 17+ years in the Financial Industry.
In this episode, I talk with Marcus Wilson, from the Out of Boundz Podcast and Charity Stripe Commentary, so that we can dig deep into the black and white issue of racism in the US and Canada.  We get into the very uncomfortable conversation regarding legislation of the N-word that I felt was very enlightening into context and the nuance of language. At the end, I added our off-the-cuff sports discussion that we had before we got into the important stuff.  We discuss the ridiculousness of the current "anti-Lamar Jackson" narrative, how legacies are started to be decided too early and the MJ/LeBron debate doesn't matter."It's not what you say, it's how you say it." - Marcus
In this episode, I sit down with Dan Pecora from the Snowflake Sports Podcast to discuss the Bills first playoff win in 25 years!  We end up talking about other things aside from the Bills such as: how Dan became a Bills fan (and when), his Raptors fandom, how NBA rest affected him seeing a certain NBA star and how he gets screwed by Market Blackouts all the time.  Enjoy the conversation!
In this episode, I talk with my good buddies, Joe McDonnell and Marcus Wilson, from the Out of Boundz Podcast and Charity Stripe Commentary.  Joe provides a history about the transfer of power and Capitol Hill.  Then we discussed the events that transpired on January 6th, 2021 at Capitol Hill in Washington, DC and what it means about the last 4 years, the current situation and the future going forward.
In this episode, I talk about the current Ontario "lockdown" as well as Doug Ford's true allegiances which includes Mike Harris and his disgraceful past.  Then I breakdown the Raptors loss to the Celtics and ask, "Why isn't Matt Thomas playing?"
In this episode, I talk about what I am going to change about myself and the pod in 2021 as well as a teaser of some plans for what I want to do.  Happy New Year!
In this episode, I return to riff on a few different items that have angered me or peaked my interest.  These include: the need to stop equating social programs with an Autocratic government uprise, how stupid the Ontario Conservative government officials seem to be (*cough* Rod Phillips *cough*) and Jason Kenney blaming the CERB for an uptick in drug overdoses.  Then I finish with a discussion about the need for the NCAA to stop hiding the money and pay the athlete-students, how we need to think a little more about how our actions can affect others and how that ties to Economics.  We need to work together to affect the change that we want to see in this world and our political parties need to stop being hypocrites (and we need to call them out when they are).
In this episode, I sit down and have a discussion with Trey again (from Charity Stripe Commentary & Out of Boundz Podcast).  We talk about the Adamson BBQ situation and he compares it to what has happened in the US before the election and how it's changing since Biden won.  We go over the differences between the US Two-Party system and Canada's multiple parties and how Republicans and Conservatives run on fear.  We learn that Americans know a lot less about Canada than Canadians know about America.  Trey explains the current evolution of the Democratic Party towards the left and how the Primary system helps with that.  We look at the benefits of implementing Universal Basic Income programs.  We get hopeful that things get better at the end.
In this episode, I discuss the motives and hypocrisy of the Conservative Party of Canada calling for a full audit of the CERB program while requesting the preliminary audit of wage subsidy applications be stopped.  Then I give my Week 12 NFL picks (including the Thanksgiving games) and some thoughts on each one.  Further discussion of Week 11 NFL action can be found on the Out of Boundz Podcast.
In this episode, I talk about my thoughts on why all this news about vaccines and whether it signals the end of the pandemic while also discussing the Tuskegee Syphilis Study and the absolute creed and unsavoury practices of the executives at the major Pharmaceutical companies.  Then I give my NFL Week 11 Picks (check out the Out of Boundz Podcast for more in-depth NFL coverage).
In this episode, I talk about how I need to re-evaluate how I've been discussing topics and groups of people.  I need to be more willing to meet people where they are and society needs to do more work when it comes to vetting their news sources.  I also give my NFL Week 10 Picks.  My thoughts on Week 9 were discussed on the recent Out of Boundz Podcast with Joe.
In this short episode, I discuss my thoughts and feelings about the passing of Alex Trebek.  I also talk about how we need to follow his lead in the pursuit of knowledge.
