Take your Stand

If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything. That's what satan wants you to do. It's time for you to decide who you are going to serve. Have a made up mind and a heart made pure by confessing Jesus as your Lord.

Acts 4:29.. And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,The Word of God is powerful, because it is guaranteed by God to be effective. •• When you speak the Word of God, you are tapping into limitless power!Jeremiah 23:28-29 Let the one who has my word speak it faithfully ... [29] “Is not my word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?” •• Think of the Word of God as a hammer. Picture it. •• This hammer can drive home a nail = positive results. •• This hammer can break down obstacles = overcoming negatives. •• “SPEAK [God's Word] faithfully” and (1) all kinds of positive things will begin to happen, and (2) all kinds of obstacles and opposition will begin to be broken.
38 And a man from the crowd shouted for help, “Teacher, I beg You to look at my son, because he is my only child; 39 and a spirit seizes him, and suddenly he cries out, and it throws him into a convulsion so that he foams at the mouth; and only with [great] difficulty does it leave him, mauling and bruising him as it leaves. “This is My beloved Son, My Chosen One; listen and obey and yield to Him!” 39 and a spirit seizes him, and suddenly he cries out, and it throws him into a convulsion so that he foams at the mouth; and only with [great] difficulty does it leave him, mauling and bruising him as it leaves. 40 I begged Your disciples to cast it out, but they could not.” 41 Jesus answered, “You unbelieving and perverted generation! How long shall I be with you and put up with you? Bring your son here [to Me].”Psalm 92:10 …I shall be anointed with fresh oil.Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is on me [Jesus], because He has anointed me…Acts 10:38 …how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
Feelings Are Not Facts

Feelings Are Not Facts

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4: KJV Hebrews 4:12“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV Sometimes I can’t help the way I feel, but I can help how I react to those feelings. I can submit them to God and His will for my life. Choosing to respond in a way that is based on God’s truth for my life and the situation. By doing that I’m honoring God. Intentionally putting faith over my feelings.
Do you need help living by faith and not guided by emotions? As believers, we are called to live by faith and not our emotions. And yet, so many of us choose to live by something else; our feelings.Have you ever made a decision because it simply felt right at the time? Have you ever said something because it felt like the perfect moment? I know I have. More times than I’d like to admit.
Here’s a profound statement: “The God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.”Take a moment to think about this scripture.God gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.God started calling Abraham a father when He made this promise to him. Sounds silly to call someone a father who is not. But God went so far as changing Abram name to Abraham, meaning “Father of Many.” All of this happened while he was still childless. He called something out in Abraham that didn’t exist and spoke of it as if it had already happened—we’re talking past tense when the future was still unwritten!
Acts 4:: 24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:25 Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness
If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). God said He would keep sickness from their door—God’s miracle—but through their disobedience, Israel destroyed many, many miracles that God made for them. Like the Israelites, you can destroy God’s miracles by unbelief, by doubt, by disobedience. How many miracles that God either made for you or was going to make have you destroyed through your failure?Every miracle that is performed in my services is performed by the Holy Spirit, not by Roy Tubbsy. I am just a vessel of clay who is yielded to His will, and He pours out His miraculous Spirit through me to work His divine will for people. It is a miracle when an eye that was dead is given life. Only God can give life, only God. When the blind suddenly receive their sight, look beyond the human hands and see divine hands, supernatural hands with supernatural ability. The supernatural ability of God is indeed miraculous, so miraculous that God merely threw out His hands and sprinkled the heaven with stars; He knows the number of stars and their names (Psalm 147:4).
1 Samuel 10:6 And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" ... Paul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus.
The Spirit of God wants each of you to capture any demonic strongholds that hold you captive and strengthen the stronghold of the Holy Spirit in you.2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience to Messiah. What is a stronghold? Why are strongholds important in literal warfare? A stronghold is a defensive structure: Psalms 9:9 The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.misgav; properly, a cliff (or other lofty or inaccessible place); figuratively, a refuge:--defense, high fort (tower), refuge.

What is forgiveness and why do I need it?The word "forgive" means to wipe the slate clean, to pardon, to cancel a debt. When we wrong someone, we seek their forgiveness in order for the relationship to be restored. Forgiveness is not granted because a person deserves to be forgiven. No one deserves to be forgiven. Forgiveness is an act of love, mercy, and grace. Forgiveness is a decision to not hold something against another person, despite what they have done to you.The enemy doesn’t even have to mess with you because you are doing his work for him. One of his mottos is that familiarity breeds acceptance and he is persistent.

Acts 26:28 New International VersionThen Agrippa said to Paul, “Do you think that in such a short time you can persuade me to be a Christian?”Festus Interrupts Paul's Defense…27King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know you do.” 28Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Can you persuade me in such a short time to become a Christian?” 29“Short time or long,” Paul replied, “I wish to God that not only you but all who hear me this day may become what I am, except for these chains.”…It is your choice to stay broken or to be made whole. You can express yourself through love or with hate; Decide to reconcile or continue the debate. Allow circumstances to dictate your mood, Or rise up in faith and receive your reward. Life and death is in the power of the tongue; Choose your words carefully for the song has begun. Psalm 40:3 He has put a new song in my mouth—Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.
Galatians 2: 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Please study the entire chapter.
Revelation 2:7 He who has an ear, let him HEAR what the Spirit says to the churches. •• “Let him HEAR what the Spirit says...” — Pray: “Lord, open my ears to hear your Spirit speak.”1 Corinthians 2:12-14 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. [13] This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. [14] ...they are spiritually discerned.14, KJV ...the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.HOW Can We Be Used with Powerin the Supernatural Realm?• “Eagerly desire” to move in this realm. Diligently seek God to experience supernatural powers in your life and ministry.• “Do not neglect” those gifts in your life, but “fan them into flame.”• Pray often: “Lord, open my ears. Let me hear what your Spirit is saying.”• Don’t depend on your natural mind, but on God’s revelation by His Spirit. “Lean not on your own understanding.”• Focus on Jesus. Ask Him for “a word” directing you into supernatural ministry.• Pray often: “Lord, open my eyes that I may see.”
Jesus calls us, in the midst of our Gethsemane, to lay aside our will, our limited understanding, and the things of this world and, instead, fix our mind on the things of God. Jesus Himself is our anchor. Not only has He made those in Him right with God, but He has also guaranteed us that the best is yet to come.
Jesus Brought Salvation and HealingOne day, you decided you were going to be saved; and in the same way, you have to decide you’re going to be healed. I am the LORD that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). With his stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).Divine Blood DeliversWhereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature (II Peter 1:4). God created man with divine blood inside, and that divinity was to have kept him from ever becoming sick or growing old. When Adam and Eve sinned, they lost that divinity; and sin and sickness entered. Suddenly, they began to age and suffer in their bodies.
That gut-wrenching account of the persecution of fellow believers should challenge us to do several things:(1) Pray daily for our brothers and sisters in Christ who live under threat of persecution.Anticipate increased opposition in our culture.Don’t be surprised by spiritual defections.'Acts 1: 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Jesus never intended Christian ministry to depend on man's natural abilities. No, but rather He has equipped His followers by the anointing of the Holy Spirit to minister with supernatural power.Romans 12:6-8 lists the supernatural “charismata” of prophesying, serving, teaching, encouraging [KJV: exhortation], giving, leadership, showing mercy.1 Corinthians 12:8-10 lists the supernatural “charismata” of the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, the gifts of healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, diverse kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues.Ephesians 4:11 enumerates the "fivefold ministry" of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers.
