Since there is a strong genetic component in the way that patients respond to medications, she has taken an active role in addressing barriers to widespread implementation of pharmacogenomics. Dr. Rogers is a member of the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium, Chairman of the Pharmacogenomics Access and Reimbursement Coalition, and an organizational member of the NIH National Human Genomics Research Institute (NHGRI) Inter-Society Coordinating Committee.
