Hey it’s Steph Dickson and welcome to the Live Wide Awake podcast. Today is a very special episode because I am reposting an episode from the How To Live podcast where I was interviewed. The reason I am doing that is because we went deep on anxiety and mental health. If you’ve been following me for a while you know this is a very important topic to me. I have been in and out of the darkness and have suffered from anxiety since I was 11 years old. And in this interview, I bare my soul, share what it's like and how I support myself through it. These conversations needs to be normalised, the more people who talk about it, the more we can break down any taboos still lingering around, support others and of course ourselves. There are two parts to this interview. The first 20 minutes we talk about climate change and sustainability. Then we go into mental health and the darkness. I am very grateful to my friend, life coach and entrepreneur, Sharad Lal for sharing my story and using his platform for such meaningful topics. A little bit about his podcast - it explores ways to live a good life. If you are looking to manage stress, deepen relationships, navigate midlife, build resilience, or simply add more meaning to your life - check it out. Okay, let’s dive in, it's time to live wide awake. Hey it’s Steph Dickson and welcome to the Live Wide Awake podcast. By now, you’ve probably heard of the words blockchain, NFTs, web3 buzzing around. And maybe you’ve started to get curious about what it all means. I certainly have. And I’ve been seeing a lot of people who work in the environmental space starting to come out with projects. I’m intrigued about the potential applications and impact for society and the environment with this technology. So today we’re speaking with Matt Rickard, Co-founder of Task.io, a Stellar-based blockchain platform that helps social enterprises to scale more effectively and TheBlueMarble.io, an eco-friendly NFT marketplace where creators can support social and environmental causes.
