Because our focus, theme, and affirmation for March was about trusting the self and trusting the universe, it seemed natural to discuss the how-to's of doing this in the real world, in real time. Trusting the universe begins with trusting ourselves. It begins when we show up to the cosmic table of meeting the liminal energies, and all that they can give us. In this episode, the themes that we will cover are:trusting yourself to show up and be presenttrusting yourself to do the work trusting yourself to meet whatever comes back to you, even when it is different than what you wanted / expectedbelieving you are worth what you dreambelieving in your gifts and capabilities to give the universeand believing that manifestation is a birth right+ much, much more!Helpful articleMy links:websiteInstagramTikTokTwitter Patreonemail me at teaandtombstones@gmail.comSupport the show (

The Edges of the 5's

The Edges of the 5's

Because the monthly cards for January and February were both 5s, I thought I would make an episode all on the 5's and the edges that they present. In this podcast episode, we meet the edges of the 5s, and the energies that come with them. For the 5 of Cups, we have the edge of the shorelineFor the 5 of Pentacles, we have the edge of the fenceFor the 5 of Swords, we have the edge of the cliffFor the 5 of Wands, we have the edge of the caveAll of them ask to come to the edge and either cross over, or come back when we are ready. Because this is a lot to take in, I have made a big handout for you to work with them. This handout includes poems, journal prompts, and spells to work with these cards, and their edges for your wild reclamation. We are back with another monthly card episode. For February we are working with the 5 of Swords and the Buffalo. Two fives in a row is no joke, so we discuss how to meet this card with:a willingness to see and deepen what we know in our processingto grow and evolve through the hardships, challengesto be tender and devoted to ourselves and divinityto be mindful so that we can present with our presence in these energies. These are just some of the themes discussed this month. The affirmation is a little different. This first part is I can and will endure, and then you fill in the last part with anything specific that you are processing and deepening right now, if you choose. If you choose to leave it as it is, that is more than enough to work with, but putting a specific focus on it can make it your own.Research linkslink 1A Welsh Snakestone, Its Tradition and Folklore by Prys MorganMy links:websiteinstagramfacebook twitteremail me at teaandtombstones@gmail.comPatreonSupport the show (
In this episode, we are discussing some ways to work with your tarot deck and guidebook. It may seem obvious and upfront, but I believe that there is so much underneath some of these seemingly basic steps. We discuss how to work with a tarot deck from a mindful and intuitive space, how shuffling is not merely an act, and why this is a practice that is not only for those brand new to tarot readings. We also discuss how to work with the guidebook as a frame of reference and as a resource, not as something that must / has to be taken at face value.  LINKSClick here to listen to my podcast episode on epic and honest tarot readings, and avoiding the pull-reflex with your cards.WebsitePatreonInstagramFacebookTwitteremail me at teaandtombstones@gmail.comCover art created by me through CanvaIntro and Outro created with Epidemic SoundsBackground music created by me through Epidemic Sounds using the tracks:Downstreams by Roots and RecognitionCobwebs in the Sky by They Dream by DayIts Not in Vain by They Dream by DaySupport the show (

In this episode, I want to share a tip that will help create trust within your readings. For yourself, or for others, the tarot is a beautiful and powerful, but subjective tool. It is important to approach each card with honesty, and to not hinder the invitations from a subconscious or personal bias. That is why the first tip is avoiding what I call the pull-reflex. This is the reflex that says you need another card to make the first card(s) clearer, but maybe you just need to sit with the unknowns to make the messages that much clearer, and full of purpose. In this episode, I break down how to engage with the tarot as a tool, and how to not get sucked into the pull-reflex, and the benefits that come when you allow the invitations to come forward organically. We also discuss how to use and integrate the tarot affirmation so that we honor the times the way feels shut, and the brimming energy that can be hard to direct.
