this podcast was so emotional and heartbreaking to listen to... the recorded audio was almost too much for me to handle... but very well produced, easy to binge, but did they really need to throw in the George Floyd nonsense? no, it really wasn't needed and I hate when podcasts push certain political opinions and whatnot... regardless, the podcast gets a 90% from me

interesting how they seem much more concerned with how children are treated in their own homes by their parents than they are with how safe the foster homes are.

None of the episodes are playing for me. I get an error that there is a broken source. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it??

I think the failure is that any safe children are allowed to be taken from their safe families. it's a systemic failure if anyone can use a system designed to protect children in any way that hurts them. Shouldn't there be checks involved to make sure no safe children are removed from their homes and families? how were the children removed in the first place when there was so little evidence (and flawed evidence) that the children were at risk? how were they held away from their loving families in homes that put them in danger? that's the failure. that's what the podcast is about. it's about how children were put in danger when there should have been no way this could have happened. The agency designed to protect children harmed them because of systemic failures.

I really enjoyed this series. It brings back the fear and thoughts of that the government sometimes has way to much power and are not objective enough, and has No one checking on them or no one that they isn't any over seeing them and what they are doing or not doing. thanks for the reminder that we are all human and we have no idea of what it is like to walk in someone else's shoes.

i think the point is that it is not just one person who is at fault (i mean lamar sucks but). there is a judge, there are the doctors, the lawyers and the supervisors who are just as at fault

Would have liked it more if they left the ‘white privilege’ narrative out. What does all the Marxist Media always brainwash blacks with victimhood? The main story was about white victims of the system but the narratives had to include poor blacks also as if the white family was ‘rich’ beyond the means of any black family to get a pro bono civil rights attorney.
