Description

Celebrating 60 Something is exactly what it sounds like it is. It is for people who are more passionate about enjoying and celebrating life in their sixties, and less concerned about having more wrinkles, a few aches and pains, and nothing exciting on their to-do list. There is not much encouragement, or information out there, for people in their “later-mid-life” that doesn’t include the words, Medicare, Social Security, or arthritis! Come on! Life in our sixties should be more about continuing to improve ourselves, enjoying ourselves, giving of ourselves, and laughing at ourselves, than focusing on the mundane and the negative. There is a lot to celebrate having lived more than half a century, and then some (give or take a few years). Come and celebrate being sixty something with me! I won’t take up much of your time, just 15 to 30 minutes or so, a couple of times a month, so you can get on with enjoying today!

Everyone loves Christmas stories, they warm your heart and make you feel good. Loneliness isn't reserved for the older generation but it does seem to affect them more than most. We all enjoy "alone time," our solitude, our own space. But being alone and loneliness are not the same thing. Loneliness is unpleasant. It can bring about feelings of sadness. It is hard to focus when you are lonely, and it can cause depression, and unhappiness. It boils down to thins... people need people. Especially during the winter months, and holid...
