“Meditation is not spacing-out or running away. In fact, it is being totally honest with ourselves.” – Kathleen McDonaldMeditation is a spiritual practice as Reiki is. When I mention the word "spirituality" to my clients, I often see a skeptical look on their faces. Most confuse spirituality for religion, whilst it has nothing to do with it.So I looked up a definition of spirituality in the English dictionary and here it is: "The quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things."To me spiritual practices - like meditation and  Reiki - are tools that help us re-connect with our most important, truthful and authentic source of knowledge, inspiration, creativity, intuition: our inner, spiritual self or our soul.Accessing this source to get the information you need to live better, less stressed, in harmony and to make the right choices and decisions in your life and business is very simple: it only takes as little as 5 minutes a day, to begin with. The benefits of these practices are immense and you experience them in every area of your life when you make spirituality an integral part of your life and of your business or career too as shown by many scientific studies. For example, "The Harvard Business School along with INSEAD—Europe’s leading business school—have concluded from their research that the two most effective business tools for twenty-first century executives are meditation and intuition. The benefits of meditation in the workplace are cumulative; they build on one another, starting with the individual and from there, positively impacting the performance of the business as a whole." (The Chopra Center)In today's episode of the ProsperityOnAir podcast my guest, Debo Kalley, speaks about how meditation and Angelic Reiki have changed her life and how they are helping her clients. This is what we cover in today's episode:- How Reiki changed Debo's life- What Usui Reiki is- The difference between Usui Reiki and Angelic Reiki- How intuition lead Debo to meditation first and then to Reiki as a spiritual and healing practice- The types of meditation Debo teaches- Self love: the most important form of love- How to deal with the thoughts that inevitably come up during meditation- How morning meditation makes a difference on how you start and experience your day- The benefits of coaching to improve one's life and wellbeing- Debo's experience in a Buddist monastery- The importance of stopping and doing nothing to find space for yourself and connect with your inner self to get the guidance you needand much moreTo know more about Debo and access the show notes of this episode, visit: https://www.projectprosperity.com/029prosperityonair
