This is the fifth episode of the third season of the Perseverance Podcast. Listen as Rachel tells her story of growing up in Hong Kong with her missionary parents. After years of following her own desires and picking and choosing what her own truth was, Karen found herself alone and pregnant during her last year of high school. Like Karen in last month’s podcast, Rachel was thinking she would end this unwanted pregnancy and life would go on as usual. So Rachel had an abortion. Unfortunately, Rachel’s days of sorrow were just beginning. Listen as Rachel shares the pain, loneliness, shame and depression that led her to consider suicide was the only answer. But then, something miraculous happened to bring Rachel back to the Lord and to discover that hope, joy and peace only come from Him. After listening to Rachel’s story of perseverance, I hope you too can feel encouraged to persevere as you go through your own difficult experiences. Every 4th Friday of the month we will cover how a person in the Bible persevered through his or her challenges and what he or she did to overcome them. Today we are looking more deeply at Samson’s challenges and what to do and what not to do when trying to combat your struggles. Then we are examining his approach and explaining how the DeafBlind Potter and you too can learn how to more fully find joy in your pain and persevere through your challenges using positive techniques. Listen to this and other episodes at www.perseverancepodcast.comThank you for coming along each month to listen to how you can overcome using people from the Bible as examples. Due to the nature of this season of busyness, we have chosen this episode as our last. We will still be airing the original Perseverance Podcast each month.
