Our guest today shares her journey from addiction to recovery. She gives us a raw insight to understanding the manipulation, the different states of mind, memory loss, and going to extremes to get the fix needed. In todays interview we hear both the good and the bad. From losing custody of her child, the worst year of her life, to reconciliation with family and friends.
This episode I speak with Kyle Pritchard, a local pastor with a big heart for seeing others break free from whatever binds them. His ministry, Live Free, is built on the foundation of meeting people where they are and giving them a safe place to lay down their burdens. He tells us today about his desire and vision to see people truly walk in freedom.
Today's guest, Kaddie Dunn, gives us insight into her life as a methamphetamine abuser and her journey to being 2 years clean. She touches on topics such as being homeless,  time she had to be away from her kids and reconciliation. She drops little nuggets of advice all throughout the podcast and don't worry, we will have her back for part 2 soon.
In today's episode Nick Maples, a small town pastor, shares his thoughts on fear of judgement and why it seems that the church body is often times dismissive toward others who may struggle with mental health or addiction. Nick also touches on his belief that, as a Pastor, it is important to cast a clear vision to the congregation and to model the behavior in reflection of that vision.
This episode I welcome Denton Hickman, a youth pastor at Inskip Baptist church, in Knoxville Tennessee. We discuss strongholds from his childhood and what he sees happening in the culture of today's youth. He also shares his perspective on the importance of good parenting and mentorship.
Dawn Radics is our guest today. She is the ICARE coalition coordinator of substance abuse prevention in Union County Tennessee. Listen in, as we have a conversation about her personal journey in overcoming substance misuse and the stronghold it had on her life.  If you would like to reach out to Dawn, her email is dwricare@gmail.com
